Locally sourced blueberries and lavender to make blueberry/lavender matcha

Making blueberry lavender Matcha with coconut milk..

Man is this easy and so delicious!!

I blended blueberries with some water and lavender syrup.
Then I made some matcha
and I added it all together with some coconut milk.

I picked up my lavender syrup at the Lavender Festival in Orrville.

My friend Abby and I had fun checking out the sellers and the lavender at Lavender Trails in Orrville.

Lavender festival was super fun.  The weather was great and I they had lots of vendors.  We walked around and visited with people.  I am hoping to set up here next year and sell lavender iced teas.

There were about 20 vendor who had honey, syrups, candles, soaps, cotton candy, wood products, etc.

I had friends from church who were there selling their cotton candy - they made a lavender flavored one too.

They also had food trucks there.  Abby and I had lunch there as well.

You were able to pick your own lavender and pay by the bunch.

Then another day I went to the Blueberry days in Bauman Orchard in Rittman.  This is where I got my blueberries.

Bauman Orchards does a lot of fun fruit events.  I have been apple picking there which always fun.  They have Peach days, and a strawberry festival as well.  Check out their website for more events hapening.

You could pick blueberries at the blueberry days.  I bought some blueberries and some blueberry cider.  They were both really delicious.  I even bought some donuts...they were the best blueberry donuts I have ever had!!!  They were fresh and hot.  I bought one for myself and one for my mom and dad.
I am glad I shared with them- or I would have eaten all three myself in one sitting.
