Secura Automatic Milk Frother

This was a great milk frother.  I am really pleased.  It is quick and frothed great.  It holds a lot of milk- over 8 oz.  I love that I can make 8 oz of tea and 8 oz of milk for one really large latte, or I can make two lattes at one time.  I can froth cold or I can froth and heat at the same time.

The milk frothes really well.  This is a great deal.  It makes great lattes.  

I had another frother and it was great too, but I like that this one is bigger and holds more milk.

When I went to Ohio Tea Company and I asked if they had anything new.   They had this one, Creme Brule.  So new, it does not even have a label yet.

These tea smells amazing!  For those of you from Orrville, Ohio will know what it smells like when I say it smells like walking into Audrey's Attic!!!  

This is a black tea- you want to heat your water over 212 degrees.  You also want to steep between 3-5 minutes.

Time to put away the Christmas mugs...which mug do I use one last time...

Okay, I could not decide.  I went for the ornament mug for my hot tea and the snow globe for my iced tea.  These mugs were the deal of the day!  The snow globe was last year from Target for .49!!!  And the ornament this year was the end of season sale at CVS for $1.00.

This is a great black tea.  I really am enjoying it. It has a nice aftertaste.  The aroma and tasting notes are great!  I really like this one!

Mug Warmer for your tea

I have been product testing for several companies for products on Amazon.  I am loving it!!!  I am always looking for tea related items. 

 And I jumped on the chance to product test this smart warmer.

My thoughts on this product- 

First, it does what it says.  It heats your cup of tea or melts your candle.  It heats up as soon as there is pressure placed on the top surface.  And it heats up quickly and becomes very hot to the touch.  Sure, this is great if you want to keep your mug hot or want to warm a candle.

But, I have concerns, to me it is a safety hazard.  If you leave this plugged in it is ready to go.  Then once you set something on it, it turns on and begins heating.  So, if someone accidentally sets something on it, you could have a fire happening.  Do you really need a heating plate that gets up to 131 degrees F?  

I know, as a former claims adjuster, I see the worst, but to me it is not safe.

Lastly, this Smart Warmer is really expensive.  It's almost $50.  To me you can buy a cup warmer for around $10.

For me if you are looking to keep a mug warm, buy a warmer that has an on/off switch, or always unplug this one when you are done.  Safety First is what I say.

Travel Multi Cup Carrier

I am constantly taking multiple cups to work- hot tea, cold tea, and kombucha.  It is hard to carry it all and not spill any of it.  I finally broke down and purchased this multi-cup carrier.  I did lots of research and I think I found the best value.
