He Brews Coffee, chai and a matcha

I have been meaning to get back down to He Brews for some tea and lunch.  I had a Saturday off, so I went and spent about fours there.

I had a delicious lunch.  The chicken salad appetizers were great.  The chai was okay.  As soon as I tased it I knew it was the Oregon Chai concentrate, which I am not a huge fan of...but other than that everything was top notch.

The super fun thing for me was when I walked in and I put my bags down and turned to say hi, the owner looked at me and said, "I want to take one of your tea classes."  I was shocked that she knew who I was.  I had nothing "tea" related on.  I asked her if she really knew who I was. She said yes, she followed me on Facebook.  I was tickled!!

This cafe is great to hang out in!  There was a group playing games while I was there.  There was also a party in the back and people in and out to pick up food and drinks.

I got a lot of blogging and tea party work done while I was there.  I also chatted with the owners.  I shared my story and heard some of their story.  What a fantastic ministry they have here.  Game nights, worship nights, and showing people Jesus' love.
We do hope to partner in the future to have a tea at He Brews.

I had a great time watching the dogs- Latte and Tess.

They were so cute playing with each other.

This is the room in the back that they rent out.  I adore it!!!  The brick walls, the rustic look, it is wonderful!!

This is a great place for groups and classes.  Love that the chairs are hanging on the wall.

And the sliding door with the window in it is great too.  Everything is so well done here.

There is a little sink area and bathroom area attached to this room too.

There are lots of fun drinks to order too.  I got one that has yet to be named. I thought it was great!!

I think it should be called Tropical Matcha.
It was Matcha, a splash of coconut milk, with Tropical Green tea from Harney and Sons.  It is so fun to play with tea and create new drinks.  This one was really fun and different.

Also if you are in the area check out the store next door, Brick and Velvet - it is a super fun shop and has crafting classes.

LincWay in Dalton and Butterfly Pea Tea at LincWay Cafe

My office had team meetings at LincWay in Dalton.  It is a new meeting space with cafe area and other businesses.

After lunch I got the butterfly pea tea.  The butterfly pea tea is herbal and a flower blossom, so there is no real flavor in this tea- it is more about the color.  You can have flavors added, so I got the raspberry flavoring added.  For $1 more you can have bubbles added.  I did not get the bubbles added.

I am giving this 4 tea cups.  The staff is super friendly.  The tea was what I expected and was good, but I do think it is a bit pricey.  I think I paid over $4 for this tea, that to me is too much.

Check out the things to do in here at LincWay.  There are meeting rooms, a hair salon, pottery painting area, cafe, and hang out area.  You can grab some friends and do a puzzle or play some games.

This place reminds me a lot of what Heartland Point used to be in Orrville.  I miss Heartland Point, as I hear a lot of people in Orrville do.

I hope LincWay does well and continues to grow and people utilize the area and services.

Below is the cafe area.  There is a nice amount of seating too.

We got boxed lunches.  I was able to get a gluten free panini.  I was excited to have a gluten free option.  The food was good. I had ham, cheese, apple panini with fruit chutney.  They gave us a side of fruit and then I had an Arnold Palmer.

Here are some of the items to paint.  I can not wait to grab some friends and paint here!!!

Caribou - Chai with Raspberry and Bousted Peach Tea

Wooster has a new coffee and tea place, Caribou Coffee.  I am a fan.

I was out celebrating that I was able to drive again after shoulder surgery and I got a Chai with raspberry.

A chai tea latte with spicy notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, cloves, and star anise.

I was out again having another doctor check up and it went well, so I celebrated with a Bousted Peach Tea.

Black tea with sweet peach juice and Bousted with caffeine from coffee plus guarana and ginseng. I get it with the sparkling water and it has a zip to it.  It is really great.

Both these drinks are great and get 5 teacups from me.
My favorite of the two is the bousted ice tea.  I love the peach flavor and the sparkling water added to the drink.

It is my understanding the this Caribou Coffee is the only independently owned Caribou in the US...and more are coming.

Sultan Tea Silhouette

A friend gave me this tea to try.  I was excited because her son got it in when he was in the Middle East, I could not wait to try it.

Moroccan Teas since 1936

Cherry, Hibiscus, mint, anise, and licorice

I tried this tea and I was not a fan.  It might be a great quality tea, but I could not get past the licorice and anise flavors.  I did not get the mint notes.  I just didn't care for the flavors.

This tea just did nothing for me.  I couldn't even finish it.  The licorice and anise were just so strong.
