Starbucks, Passion Iced Tea- Boston

My cousin and I are headed to Malaysia!!  We are traveling- Cleveland, BOSTON, Hong Kong, and then finally Penang.  We are headed there to work with kids on a mission trip.  I love working with kids and sharing Jesus with them.  I want to pour love into them.  To let them know that God loves them!!  Being a kid is not easy, so these trips give me a week to make them feel special, do fun crafts with them, go one adventures and just love on them.  I want them to know that they may feel ordinary but God can do extraordinary things in and through them.

It was late and nothing is open, but Starbucks was. So, I got my favorite- Passion Iced Tea, half the pumps of sugar.   There is the dilemma of not wanting to drink before you board the plane, because then you will have to use the bathroom.  But, on a flight that is over 17 hours you know you will have to use the restroom multiple times, so you might as well stay hydrated!

Love the Wahlburgers....well, at least their reality TV show.  I was excited to see them and get a photo with them :)

Starbucks, Raspberry Cold Foam Ice Shaken Black Tea, Batu Fenninghi Penang

My friend, Carrie, and I needed a cool drink break. We were in Penang on a mission trip. This Starbucks in Malaysia was about 5 minutes from our hotel.  Win Win 

Carrie and I always have fun when we are together.  She and i met a few years ago in Thailand.  She is a hoot and I love her.  She got a Matcha drink- she always gets Matcha.

 

After this we headed out for massages!!  I got a full body massage and I fell asleep while she was working on me.  She said I was snoring...sorry about that :)

Man is it hot!!!  But, this Raspberry Cold Foam Ice Shaken Black Tea hit the spot!!

It was kind of like a tea smoothie on the top and an iced tea on the bottom.

I wonder if they will bring this Cold Foam Ice Shaken Black Tea to the states.  It is unique and different kind of drink, I liked it.

We were in Batu Ferringhi.  They a nice large Starbucks.  And if you wondered if the prices were any better in Malaysia, they are not!  I think Starbucks in every country is over priced.  Just saying.....

Bigelow Steep, Cold Brew- green tea with Pomegranate

I was given this tea to try.  It is from Bigelow.  I prepared this green tea as a cold brew.  Cold brew is just a glass of ice water with a tea bag added.  Since you are not heating it you can keep the bag in the water the entire time you are drinking it.  It never gets bitter.  And you can refill the glass one or two more times.

This tea was refreshing.  It was borderline tart, but wasn't tart. It was fruity and good. I enjoyed it.

Ohio Tea Company, Almond Pear Chai

Once a month you can get a 1/2 oz of tea for free.  I was out and about, in Canton, for my birthday.  I decided to stop in to my favorite tea shop for some tea.  

I love this place.  Everyone is super friendly and they are very knowledgeable. They have lots of fun tea products and a nice selection of tea.  They often have informative classes too.  I have been to their general tea class and their chai class.

I picked up Almond Pear Chai.  The sweet lady who checked me out, she had just had it that morning and loved it.  What a dream job- selling tea!

Succulent pears and sweet chai spices are balanced by the warmth of toasted almonds in this uniquely splendid white tea blend.

BingZ Harvest Apple Kombucha

Here is another Kombucha I tried after buying it at Walmart for $2.99.  Walmart sells Kombucha for over a $1.00 less than my grocery store.  I still don't buy it often- because $2.99 is still too much for a drink.  But, I like try new one brands when I have a chance and I can write if off a "business" expense. 

The fruit flavor is really good and comes through clearly.  I want to make an apple flavor one now!  It reminds me of a sparkling cider.

This Harvest Apple is a really good Kombucha.  I am a fan.  I am amazed that a year ago you could hardly find any Kombucha in the area and now it is everywhere....and most of it is really good.

I like that is so much healthier than soda too!
