Starter Matcha, 100% Organic Matcha

I did a product test for Matcha.  I figured this was a good time to try Match a few different ways and see  what way I liked it.

I am not a fan of the taste of Matcha, but I do love ll the things things they help with...boost energy, burn calories. increase focus, lowers stress,  improves skin health, and super charges the immune system.

I have started to work on my heath again.  I am down almost 20 pounds.  I have been eating healthy and doing protein shakes for breakfast.  So, lately I have started to add Matcha to these shakes. I can still taste the Matcha, but it is more subtle.

So, I have found a way to enjoy the healthy goodness of Matcha.  Adding them to protein shakes.  I soon, will try to make shakes with almond and/or coconut milk with the Matcha and see how that goes.

I do think that Matcha is good for you.  I want those health benefits too!!!

Ohio Tea Company, Love Potion #9

I ordered some new teas to try.  All of these were new teas I had never tried before.  I decided to try a new one that was not even on there website yet, I just happened to see it on Facebook.

It is called Love Potion #9....

These ladies and I love Ohio Tea Company.  So, whenever each of us get tea we share with each other so we can all discover new teas.

All three of us tried this tea and discovered we loved it!!  The dissolving hearts are extra fun too.  This tea is sweet, you can taste the dried raspberries.  I don't get the vanilla, but that is okay, I get all the other notes of black tea, ginger and cocoa.  I think that this tea would also be really great iced.

Why, Why, Ohio Tea do you keep coming up with amazing teas?!!!???

I am in trouble, this is a another great tea!

Ohio Tea Company, Crime of Passion

green tea. sunflower petals, natural dried papaya, and natural passion fruit flavor

I am in big trouble, I love this tea.  I am trying to find new teas for my office, so I thought I would try this one.  This is not like any other green tea I have ever had, or at least that i can remember. This tea has sweet fruity notes and no hint of the grassiness you typically find in a green sencha tea.  I think this would be a great iced tea.

This is a green, which means you want to not over heat.  The water needs to be around 170 degrees and I steep for 2-3 minutes.

I am in trouble, I found my new favorite green tea.

Jus tea Kenyan Earl Grey

Here is my Earl Grey!!

From the website, "Kenyan Earl Grey: Our cold-pressed bergamot oil will brighten your Earl Grey experience! Grown under the Mediterranean sun, organic bergamot oranges marry perfectly with the natural fruity notes of our whole leaf Kenyan tea. Unlike any other Earl Grey you have tasted, share a cup with a friend named Earl soon!"

100% Natural Ingredients: Rainforest Alliance Kenyan Black tea, organic cold-pressed bergamot oil

I got a free hand carved spoon from Kenya.

At Christmas I discovered these incredible Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies with candy canes.  These cookies are such a treat with tea.

This Earl Tea is the strongest Earl Grey tea I have ever had, and not in a bad way. It was really good.  I did add milk to it though, since I am not used to such strong teas.  This is a really well made tea.  It blended well together.  This tea has a unique flavor and strength to it and I wonder if it has to do with the cold pressed bergamot?

I love my cat mug, the little pocket is for the tea bag....or cookies in this case, lol!

Ohio Tea Company, Guayusa Spice

Ohio Tea Company has done it again!!!  Another great tea!

Guayusa (Ilex guayusa) is a holly tree native to the Amazon rainforest. People have harvested this tree's leaves since ancient times due to their perceived health benefits, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties

"The flavor is similar to mate, but with a more plush, fruity flavor and a complete lack of bitterness. Tasting invites comparison to green tea, but the flavor is less tannic and the texture is more creamy (much more so than other herbal teas I've tried). ... You can brew guayusa like any other herbal tea."

"Guayusa tea is known as a healthy elixir thanks to its composition of a host of nutrients. Guayusa contains essential amino acids that improve mood and induce relaxation. This tea also has twice as many antioxidants as green tea. Antioxidants have been shown to boost cardiovascular health and the immune system."   https://www.cupandleaf.com/blog/guayusa-tea-benefits

Organic Guayusa, Organic Lemongrass, Organic Cinnamon

I think this is the first time I have had Guayusa tea....and I love it.  This tea has a nice light cinnamon note.  It is a great tea.  The lemongrass is super subtle, but it is there.  This tea is not bitter, it is creamy.I made three cups of tea out of 1 teaspoon.
I love that this Guayusa contains essential amino acids that improve mood and induce relaxation.  It has  more antioxidant properties than green tea.  Improves cardiovascular health, anti-inflammatory properties, and boosts the immune system too.
