Whippt, Lavender Oat Milk Latte, Wooster Oh

135 W Liberty St, Wooster, OH  44691

I tried Whippt for the first time.  I had been in there before and I was told it was only coffee.

Well, I was in Wooster early in the morning and Boba was not open and as I walked by Whippt I noticed some signs on the window that were more than coffee.  I was excited to check them out.

They had a nice selection of drinks other than coffee too.

I asked about the chai.  I wondered if it was a concentrate.  She said no, it was their own blend.  And then they had lots of options of flavors for me as well. I went for it.

The gal who waited on me was SUPER friendly and helpful.  She was not the owner, but was so knowledgeable and pleasant I enjoyed talking about the coffee and tea with her.  I think next time I may do a dirty chai with the whippt coffee.

Whipped coffee is from South Korea, people compared it to the candy, Dalgona.  Thus it got the name Dalgona Coffee.  This coffee concentrate is whipped rather than brewed.  Whipping ensures the rich, full body flavor without the bitterness or acidity that brewing can have.  The owner Nicole came up with her own recipe in 2020.  Nicole's is a frozen coffee called Whippt.

I went with the Lavender Chai with oat milk.  One for me and one for a friend.  I thought the did a great job with the flavors of the chai.

I am giving this coffee place FIVE tea cups for their chai.  The price was good.  The tea was really good and the service was excellent.

They also have some items for sale as well.

I then took one of the chai's and surprised my friend.

Honey Bean Coffee at the 720 Market, Pumpkin Pie Chai

I made my first trip to a 720 Market event.  This one was Oct 5th in Hartville, Ohio.

720 Markets are so fun! Each month they are in a different city.  They have been around since 2016.

I thought that the 720 Market was really well done and fun.  The vendors were good and the weather was perfect.  They had live music playing and it was a great vibe.

This pumpkin pie chai was really good and the cold foam was a treat!!!  I am giving them five tea cups. The flavors were spot on and too over the top.  It was a nice mix.
The people in the trailer were friendly.  The price was decent.  I was very pleased.

There was lots to see.  The booths were very inviting.  I enjoyed walking around.

Hartville had this building painted, I thought it looked great.  The artist,

eyerusssss

,
(https://www.instagram.com/eyerusssss/) did a great job.  I know I always say it, but I wish more businesses painted the brick walls with fun art.

Eyerusssss has painted in Canal Fulton, Umbrella Alley, and other places.

Honey and Fig, Charm Ohio. Pumpkin Roll Chai and Apple Carmel Matcha and a trip to Millersburg

My Wednesday Wanderings took me to Holmes County.

I first went to Charm to Honey & Fig for tea and lunch.

The leaves are just starting to turn.

Honey & Fig, is right across the street from Keim Lumber.

4450 STATE ROUTE 557, MILLERSBURG OH ( it has a Millersburg address, but it is in Charm)
Not sure if you can tell in this photo below to the right, is engraved with the word CHARM.

There is nice area for parking in the back.

The boutique area used to be in the back of the cafe.  They now have more seating there.  And the boutique items got moved to where you first walk in the cafe.

The boutique has some clothes, jewelry, coffee, plants, and other miscellaneous items.

I was super sad that I missed the breakfast menu and that they no longer carried flights.  But, I was able to find a bowl I really enjoyed and I ordered two small drinks.

I ordered the Hawaiian Bowl, it was very tasty!!!  I do wish for $13.99 it came with chips or something.  But, the flavors were great.

I will have to come back for the Farmers Breakfast bowl.  My dad had the breakfast bowl last time we were here and it looked fantastic.  He wasn't even able to finish it.

Along the windows they had plant beds.  I loved it!!  The plants sat in the boxes and then were also for sale.  I thought it was super clever.

Water, pumpkin roll chai, and caramel apple matcha
with the Hawaiian bowl.

The pumpkin roll chai was good, very sweet.  There was almost a perfumy flavor that I couldn't pin down, but it was good.

The caramel apple matcha was really very nice, but it lost the matcha for me.  The caramel was too over powering.

I am giving both drinks 3 tea cups.  There was something in the pumpkin roll chai that seemed off to me in the flavor/syrup.   I wished that I could taste the matcha in the caramel apple.  I thought for the size of the cup it should have been less.   Not bad drinks, they were good, just some small things I didn't care for or thought they could improve upon.

I then went to the Inn at Honey Run, the reason for the entire trip.  I wanted to walk the outdoor art museum that they had.  I saw pictures on line and it looked fun and it was a great day for a walk.

Little did I know that it cost $20 for people who were not staying at the Inn.  I decided to pass on the walk.  I hung with the sheep for a bit and then drove into Millersburg.

Millersburg has some cute down town shops that I walked around in.  The main drag is on Rt 39.  I went in two antique stores and some boutiques.

It is always fun to explore and find new things.  Even though I did not do what I planned the day was fun and I am glad I went wandering.

They also have some fun discount stores.  I went into their MCC store- Save and Serve on 83.   It was nice and clean.  They have lots of deals there.
