Peach Joe Tea

I was in Holmes County Ohio the other day and I was thirsty and I saw this tea.  Tea I had never tried before- so you know what I did...I bought the tea.  Plus, I liked the label!!!

I really have tried to stay away from bottled teas lately because of all the sugar, but I tried this one and I really did like it.  The taste was really good, very peach like.  It did not have an artificial peach taste that some peach tea have.

Sub Rosa Tea

I was in Wooster for a "craft show" and was thrilled to find Sub Rosa Tea!!! I discovered Sub Rosa tea last year at an All Ohio Craft Show.  I love  their tea.  So many fun flavors.

Stacie and I in Wooster.

Sub Rosa tea does custom tea tastings for groups and parties in the Northern Ohio area.

I took some tea to share with co-workers....they loved it!!!

Beulah Beach and Kombucha

https://www.beulahbeach.org/

Spending the day at my favorite place- Beulah Beach.  It is the church camp I grew up going to.   For the last 10 years I have been going to Beulah Beach over the Memorial Day weekend for the benefit auction.  Each year they raise money for the camp.

I took some kombucha for my friend to try.  We had fun drinking tea and laughing Friday night.  I love being able to share Kombucha with people.  She already made Kombucha, but she did a straight black tea- I was teaching her about fruit flavored tea.

One of the best things about the auction is being with friends!!!  I have known these gals for over 25 years.  We were used to be camp counselors together.  I love them!!

Justea Purple Mint

https://justea.com/product/purple-mint-tin

I bought this Justea Purple Mint Tea, because I had purchased the Justea Purple Rain Tea and I loved it.  It's super fun that each tea tin comes with a hand carved spoon from Kenya.

This tea was really great as well.  I am thrilled with the purple tea!!!  I made this tea iced and it's wonderful.

From the Justea website,

"PURPLE TEA: THE MAGIC TEA

Over 25 years ago, the Tea Research Foundation of Kenya (TRFK) developed this new Purple cultivar and small-scale Kenyan farmers planted the seedlings in 2011. Purple Leaf Tea is a cultivar of Camellia Sinensis (species) Assamica (varietal). It is called Purple Tea because the bushes grow purple leaves in Kenyan tea gardens. The leaves are purple because they contain super-antioxidants called anthocyanins. Don’t be shocked by its bright colour, This is not a gmo plant; it is completely natural and part of the tea family!
To craft the best Purple Tea cup flavour and retain the most health benefits, it requires its own unique recipe. In the garden, only the freshest Purple leaves are plucked, older leaves can’t be plucked because then the leaf colour will have started to fade from purple back to green. Unlike a Green Tea, the leaves require a withering process to ensure a sweeter taste and moisture reduction. Then the leaves are panned/steamed similar to a green tea, rolled and then dried. So Purple Tea is withered like an Oolong/Black, panned/steamed like a Green, and plucked carefully like a White Tea! And of course, Purple Tea can only be made from a purple leaf.

BENEFITS OF PURPLE TEA:

Purple Tea leaves have more antioxidants than any other tea leaf! They also contain a type of antioxidant called Anthocyanins, which is what turns the tea leaves purple. This is the same antioxidant found in ‘superfoods’ like Acai berries, Pomegranates and blueberries. The medicinal value of Purple Tea is endless! The leaves have anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer properties and reduce cholesterol, boost cognitive function and prevent colds and flus. And because of how this tea is produced, it has half the caffeine of Green Tea."

I have been drinking it cold/iced.  I love it, it's so refreshing!!!
