LincWay Christmas Tea

Whose ready for a Christmas Tea Party?

I love working with LincWay!!  We partnered together for another tea.  For $30 each person will get to try 5 teas I have prepared for them, have a light lunch, and paint an ornament.

It is so nice that I can come the evening before and set up!  That is a huge help in the morning.  I love to sleep in on Saturdays, lol.

They have a side entrance from the parking lot to conference rooms where the tea party is held.

I set up a tea table with 4 of the teas.  I also had another area where I would make peppermint matcha lattes as people wanted them.

I had Ohio Tea's Mint Chai.  That is one of my favorite Chai blends.

The nice thing about an iced tea is that it can be made the night before.  I also filled ornaments and everyone had an ornament at their table with tea in it to take home and enjoy over ice.

I usually try to do all different tea companies.  But I just love Harney & Sons.  So not only did I use them for the White Christmas, I also used their Soho blend as well.

I made my homemade Wassail, which seemed to be the biggest hit of the day.  One lady asked to buy a gallon of it from me.

Lastly, I had this matcha station and I made people peppermint matcha lattes.
I demonstrated for them the way to make matcha from start to finish.

Lincway does a fantastic job with the food.  They always have a great assortment of food for everyone to nibble on as they enjoy tea and painting.

We had around 20 people at this Christmas tea.

Enjoying a little chai break myself.

It was really fun to have one of my coworkers from the insurance office here with two of her friends.  She loves the cold foam, so after she finished her matcha, I made her a cup of just peppermint cold foam.

Once I was sure everyone was set with tea, I went in search of an ornament to paint.

They had close to 50 different ornaments to paint this year.

I loved the truck and tree ornament, but I knew there was too much detail for me in one sitting.

I went super simple and did what I did last year...the to go tea cup.

Last year I went for the brown cup, this year I went purple.

Everyone seemed to have a great time,

My friend and her table did these beautiful trees in the snow.

Not very exciting, but it fits on my cup tree.  This tree has nothing but tea cups on it.

Reach out if you would like me to come bring the tea to your party.  It can be all fun or we can throw in some tea education too.

I have done: herb society tea parties, travel groups, birthday parties, baby showers, family get togethers, bridal showers, wedding receptions, graduation parties, church get together, Valentines Teas, chai making classes, Kurdish tea making classes.
You name it I am up for it.

Tea Christmas Cafe decor at my office....I won the contests

We had our first ever, Decorate your office, Christmas Contest.

I knew right away I was going with the Christmas Tea Cafe theme.

I decided to make a giant tea cup...I like to think of it as a Masala Chai with cold foam.

How did I make it?  I went to the Dollar General Store and walked up and down the isle until an idea came to me.

I bought a trash can, a circular floral wreath, and a pizza pan.  I then went to the hardware and bought red paint...that was the most expensive part- the red paint.

I glued everything together with glue I had.

I cut the floral wreath in half to act as the handle and then glued it onto the trash can.

I glued the trash can on to the pizza tray.

Thankfully it was not too cold in the garage to spray paint.

Ta Dah!!!  I love it!!

I already had some giant logo stickers, so I thought that was fun to add it to the mug.  I also already had the candy cane for my Christmas decor.  I also add the white cloth to be the cold foam.

I bought the Gingerbread House on Amazon.
I zip tied the house to the ceiling.

I then bought some cafe streamers from Amazon to hang down from the ceiling.  I figured I could always use these again for Christmas tea parties.  As well as one of the back drops as a photo back drop for a party.

Lastly, I found a teachers cafe board on Amazon.  It was meant to be a bulletin board display for a school.

I spend around $45 dollars on everything....and some could be used again for Christmas teas.  The prize was $100 so I wanted to be sure I still won money if I won.

I came in after hours and took me about 4 hours to put it all up.

And I won!!!!!

I won the $100 Amazon gift card!!!!

My coworker and I also spilt the $50 prize  for decorating a coworkers office, lol!!

Granted he was on vacation at the time.
And no one else participated in the contest....still we will take the win!!

We called it Boxing Day!  We threw all the empty boxes that come to the office over Christmas in his pod.  I also did not need the gingerbread roof, so we added that as well.

I also won $25 for the ugly Christmas sweater contest.
I guess that is what happens when you put HR on your shirt and she is a really good sport about it.

Merry Christmas to me this year from the office, lol!!!
