Halloween tea custom

Trying to decide what to be for Halloween??????  Tea pot, tea cup, or bag of tea.....

I think that this is my goal this year for a Halloween Custom!!!!  If I were dressing up for work or going to a Halloween party then I would go all out for the cup of Starbucks!  I'd print out my own Kerrie's Cup of Tea Logo on the cup and everything.

Stash Chai loose leaf

This large mug held my tea and all the milk I added!!!  So wonderful!!  You can add the milk hot or cold to your tea. I warmed the milk a little, just so it would not make my Chai cold when I added it.

I love a good Chai....warm or cold.  Well, the other night it was getting cool out, so I made a cup of hot Chai.  It was wonderful!  Again, I have said it before, but Chai is the only tea I add sugar too.  This Chai was a mix of black and green.

I was lucky to get to my tea at the Massillon Discount Center for $3.69.  I got a great deal.

From the website-      For our interpretation of this classic Indian beverage, we blend organic Assam black and green tea with organic cinnamon, clove, ginger, and cardamom. The brewed tea is very aromatic with a flavor that is slightly sweet, strong, and penetrating, with rich, full-bodied, lingering flavor notes. This tea is very pleasant plain or with a splash of milk and dash of sugar. It is exceptional any time of day-as a rich morning cup, an enjoyable dessert tea, or as a special treat.
Chai is usually brewed very strong, often concentrated, with lots of sugar and milk. Traditional Indian chai combines rich black tea that is boiled in milk with local spices such as cinnamon, clove, cardamom, and occasionally black peppercorns, ginger, and red chilies. The drink is then sweetened with sugar.
Stash Tea is certified organic by Quality Assurance International. QAI is a professional organic certification service that is internationally recognized. QAI's program is designed to certify every step of the organic chain-from the land on which the product is grown, to the growers, to the post harvest facilities and the final processing and handling facilities. Products which carry the QAI certification seal convey the confidence of an unbroken "chain of custody" that all materials and processes have been individually certified as organic.

I had so much tea, that it filled up my cup and I had not added milk yet, so I had to get another cup and add the tea and the milk.  It is yummy goodness!!!

Tealightful Warming Walnut Green

I am a big fan of Warming Walnut Green tea!!!  Tealightful is a great tea product, but I do admit I store my loose leaf tea in air tight and dark containers to keep in the flavor.  I took some glass Argo tea bottle and sprayed them back- now they are prefect to store loose leaf tea in.  This tea is so favorable!  It is not the "grassy green" you sometimes get with green teas.

I had taken my steeper tea cup home to clean, so I had to make do with the mesh pincher steeper.  Not my favorite way to make tea, but it worked!

Bolthouse FARMS Vanilla Chai Tea

I am such a fan of this drink!!  I don't add ice, but I make it as cold as I can.

From the outside, our Vanilla Chai Tea looks like an unsuspecting blend of brewed green tea, chai spices and a hint of vanilla. But once you twist open the cap, there’s no turning back. The taste hits your lips, the 7 grams of protein hit the spot and you realize it’s not a drink. It’s a fix.

Making McDonalds Iced Tea

I was out geocaching in Barberton/Norton the other day and I needed a tea and potty break.  I think that this was the fanciest McDonalds I have ever been in.

I loved that I got to make my own- half and half, light ice, iced tea!

I need to get them to have a Bunn Tea station like this at work!!!!

Alma Darjeeling Gomtee

Enjoying some of my tea from when I was in Spain in 2013.  And it is still good!

The most famous of the Indian teas, light and delicate, with pleasant aroma and character it´s best served without milk and sugar.

I enjoyed this tea in a cafĂ© in Malaga Spain....and now in my home in Ohio.  Funny, how it brings back those instant memories of Spain!

Impra Black Currant Green Tea

My friend gave this to me- she was given it at a baby shower.  What a clever baby shower take away for the guests!

The Impra tea was good.  I am a fan on black currant, so I enjoyed it.

Tea shampoo/conditioner

I needed some conditioner, and I am not super picky what I use...I look for a good deal.  Well, how could I pass up TEA THERAPY Conditioner!!!  So, I picked Vanilla Mint Tea and Blackberry Sage Tea

So far, so good.  I think I like it and I know I like the smell!

POM pomegranate peach passion white tea

I bought this when it was on sale the other day at Buelhers.  This is only my second POM drink, but I was not a real fan of this flavor.  It was a little too sweet for me.  But, you can be the judge when you try it.....

Tea box Kashmiri Kahwa Chai

I ordered this tea to make my pink chai.  I love that it came "freezer wrapped" or shrunk.  Once I open it they also put another bag in there to store it in. Ships From: India | Ships To: United States

Kahwa is a traditional green tea preparation made with exotic spices. Our signature blend features fine green tea which has been combined with rich ingredients, including cardamom, almonds, cinnamon and cloves. Its signature flavor is derived from the use of saffron strands, that are included in the blend. A truly celebratory tea, Kahwa is best served during brunch hours

Writing is Kaufmann’s cup of tea

“I am a tea snob,” said Kerrie Kaufmann as she walked through the comfortable century-old home that showcases an eclectic mix of antiques, family heirlooms, books, teacups and teapots, as well as a rescue cat named Shakespeare.

Under no circumstances will she make tea from a tea bag; it must be loose and properly steeped. “Writing is my hobby, while tea, now that is my life and passion,” Kaufmann said. However, her hobby also has been her saving grace.

Kaufmann was 19 and a Bible college student when, rather suddenly, anxiety and paranoia overcame her, making her life miserable and subsequently forcing her to leave school and return home after a year and a half. The diagnosis was a chemical imbalance. A family friend suggested that perhaps journaling could help her sort out her feelings and emotions, so one day she began that therapeutic journal and her first book, “Claims of Love,” was born in one month.

Kaufmann said she would just sit down in the evening and the book would almost write itself. “It was a God thing,” she added.

“The characters lived in my head already and all I had to do was put them down on paper. It was so easy to write,” Kaufmann said. “It is fiction but somewhat autobiographical, like most fiction is. The main character is basically about a single gal with weight issues, works as a claims adjuster, and is just trying to live a God-honoring life,” Kaufmann said. All of the books took on a life of their own and were written in a few months or less. Her fifth book is underway, though it seems to be taking a bit longer.

Why? Kaufmann said she has no idea.

“I love to write and I have written poetry since I was a kid and had some pieces published,” she said. “I love to read and my favorite authors are Dee Henderson, Mindy Starns Clark, and Jane Austen.”

Still, Kaufmann said, her dream would be to win the Publisher’s Clearing House Contest and open a tea shop filled with antiques where people could read and just relax. As for Kaufmann, she’d just as well as go on mission trips around the world.

“While writing is my hobby, tea is my cup of tea,” said Kaufmann.
