Bluebird Tea Co- Strawberry Lemonade

I first heard about Bluebird Tea Co on Twitter.  I am new Twitter and I don't know much about it, but I can tell you everyone was talking about Bluebird, so I figured I needed to check them out.  I checked out their website and I was very excited to see what they had. I placed a small order and I was even MORE excited when I tried their teas!!!

This strawberry Lemonade I have only done as a cold brew, but it is terrific!!!  The flavors are bright and strong.  I can drink it all day- refilling my cold water 5-6 times and every time the strawberry and lemon are front and center.

Do you know about cold brew??? It is phenomenal!!!  You have a cup of water (or water bottle) and you add loose leaf tea (if you have a filter) or a tea bag and all day long you can keep refilling the water.  Because you are cold-brewing the flavor never gets bitter- you can't over steep.  When you add the cold water within 10 minutes you have the perfect cup.  You can leave the tea in the entire time- it is perfect for the lazy drinker :) I drink it all the time. If you are doing a bagged tea- then do a mesh bag with real leafs and tea. Bluebird is a perfect example of the mesh tea bag.

From the website:
"With real strawberry chunks and zesty lemon peel it's easy to see why this fantastically fruity infusion is our best seller and an award-winner! Amazing iced or hot, enjoyed by all ages, girl, boy,dog... This versatile little number is a big hit all-round. Why not get a pitcher on the go"

I purchased a mix selection so I could try a large variety.

Bubbles The tea & Juice Company

This is me, VERY HAPPY!!!!

The North Market is fun little shop near the Hyatt Convention Center in downtown Columbus.  I think if I am in the area I will be back.  They had cool, unique shops.

I was in Columbus visiting some friends.  We were in the North Market and I was so excited to spot a Bubble Tea Shop!!!  I rushed over and got a lavender bubble tea.  They carry a wide variety of things.  While there I also purchased a basil strawberry lemonade that was phenomenal.

The service and staff were super friendly and kind.  I was very pleased with the experience.

My friends and I at the North Market in Columbus. We had a great time walking around and making several trips for flowers!!!!

Christmas with the family and then the next day tea with the girls!!!

My spunky niece!!!  She has a little Kerrie in her!!!

This shop in Canal Fulton sells a lot of cute tea items.  I have purchased their loose leaf tea here too.

It was all decorated for Christmas.  It was beautiful!!!!  I love coming here for special events.  I say that and yes, it is only my third time here...but they have all been special :)

We ordered this garden tea, it was so fun!!! It makes me laugh when people say "High Tea".  I believe High Tea was around 4 or 5pm and you were served more hardy/meaty items.  But, anyway we enjoyed our finger foods!!

My only complaint I have with this tea shop is the way they serve their tea. They put the loose leaf tea in the pot and let it sit on the table.  After my first trip there, I have always asked for two pots. And when I do the staff looks at me like I have two heads.   I let the tea steep and then when the time is up- I pour the tea into the new pot.  I must say that I was the only one who drank the entire pot....everyone else said that their tea was too strong and bitter by the end.  I would think steeping the tea the correct way would be priority one!  But, if you go just nicely explain that you want two pots and they will bring them to you and then you can have a wonderful pot of tea!

My sister pouring her tea into her cup- catching the loose leaves in the strainer.

The tea was great!!!  I love the coconut oolong

yummy finger foods!!!  We all got one of each item

Morning tea- Teacup Tuesday

Need my tea before work.  It's Teacup Tuesday, what's in your cup?  Mine is homemade ice tea!!!

Love to make tea and drink it all day at work.  I usually drink several cups of tea a day.  What about you?  Cold tea? Hot tea? Sweet tea?  I like iced tea in the summer, but only with a small amount of sugar.  If some add 1 cup for a gallon of tea, I may add 1/3 cup.   Keep drinking your tea!

Tea Book

I treated myself to this fun book!!!  It is fascinating.  I am learning so much about the history of tea, the regions of growth, harvesting of tea and so very much more!!!  If you are looking to expand your knowledge check out this book!!!

Pure Leaf, Fuji Apple & Ginger

Found this on my desk from a friend & co-worker.

I like the TeaHouse Collection, better than the tea that they make in the plastic bottles.  These blends in the glass bottles taste less artificial tasting.  They taste more like something you would make yourself.

Health-Ade Kombucha, Pink Lady Apple

I tried this Kombucha today- it was GREAT!!!!  The only draw back is the price.  I am not paying over $2.00 for Kombucha that I can make at home.  But, if you don't make it, and you want a really good one- this is it.  I loved the flavor.  It was sweet and not too tart.  I found it to be one of top 5 bottled Kombucha drinks I have tried.

Tea Forte- Lemon Lavender Iced Tea

I love this tea warm or cold!!!!  It is so refreshing.  Remember to play with your tea!  Try new things, new flavors are so fun to create.

organic chamomile flowers, organic lemon balm leaves, organic apple pieces, organic lavender, organic linden leaves

I add the loose leaf tea with mint tea- either real mint in the summer, or bagged mint in the winter.

Our Family, Chai Latte

This was a miss!!! I was so excited to try, it was on sale at my local grocery so I bought 2 boxes.
I took it to work and made it in the Keurig that we have there.  And I hated it.  I took the one box back and got a refund.

This face, is BEFORE I tried it!!!

Synergy Trilogy Kombucha

Threes company with tangy raspberries, tart lemons and spicy ginger.

This is so yummy!!!!!!  You need to try it- if you don't make it yourself :)

tea ornaments

A friend showed me some hot coco and coffee ornaments that she got.  I got to wondering if I could make any with tea?  Maybe an instant chai with peppermint candies??? There are lots of fun ideas out there.  The glass ornaments are expensive, so I am looking to see if I can find some nice plastic ones.
