Lavender Fest

I love doing the Lavender Trails Fest, but I believe this will be the last year for me.  It is just too hot for me!  This is the third year and I have always done very well here, but it is just exhausting to set up, stay for hours and hours, and then pack up.

I will be back to visit vendors though!  I think this is a great event.  But, I am more of an air condition gal, lol.

I tried something new this year.  I made lavender matcha.  I made the lavender matcha base the day before and then added oat milk that day.

Tip on keeping your tea cold without ice.  I make a ring mold using the tea.  This way as the ice mold melts it does not dilute the tea.

I got a new spot this year, the back row by the field.  I liked having a view of everything that was happening.  There were a lot of us vendors there, which is so fun.

It is 8am and I am already sweating off pounds, lol!

I am VERY grateful for the tent my parents bought me a few years ago.  I would be lost without it.

Mark your calendar and come next year.  If you come early, when they open, it is free.

When you sign up to be a vendor it is $50, but if you show up that day, you get that $50 back.  I think this is a wonderful way to secure vendors.
And then I like to take that $50 and spend it on the Lavender Trails items.  They have great syrups, honey, and other fun items.

Behind me was this beautiful field of wild flowers.  I wish my own chaos garden looked like this.

All set....now if I could just install an AC unit behind me.
Actually I was drinking lots of tea, then realized I would have to use the port a potty, so I stopped that too.  hahahahaha.

I met Healer's Mark, she was next to me.  I got some tea from her.

I met Kim, who has been following me on social media, which I love.
I think she was the most excited person ever to see me.  It made my day!

Karen from church came.  I love seeing her and her husband.

My cousins showed up too.  That was a fun surprise.

Watch and follow Lavender Trails in Orrville.  They have the Lavender Fest at the end of June and beginning of July almost every year.  It is a great event.

Green Goat, Strawberry Matcha

While out and about on a gorgeous Sunday I wondered over to Green Goat.
I love this space!!

Here are some of the drink options.
I went for the Strawberry Matcha.

I LOVED that they were using Hartzler Dairy milk, shout out to the local dairy!!

This is a dream venue!  I loved it!  There were little and big rooms throughout the Green Goat. And the decor was eclectic and wonderful.

And when the weather is nice and there is a large group, they can open these garage doors for even more indoor/outdoor space.

And speaking outdoor space!!
Who would not love a courtyard like this?!!

The brick, the wood tables?  I just love it.

I can't say enough about this space.  I wish it were closer, I would have lunch here at least once a week.

I am standing at the door looking in.  It has such charm and character here too.

The matcha was $6, which is about average.  The flavors were good and I loved they used Hartzler's milk.  The place is just incredible for gathering place.  The staff was friendly and the cafe was clean.  Even though they are not a "tea" place, I will be back again.

A great day in Cleveland!
