Ohio Tea at the 720 Market in Hartville and Tea Strainer Art

I made my first trip to a 720 Market event.  This one was Oct 5th in Hartville, Ohio.

720 Markets are so fun! Each month they are in a different city.  They have been around since 2016.

I thought that the 720 Market was really well done and fun.  The vendors were good and the weather was perfect.  They had live music playing and it was a great vibe.

While was I was there I found my favorite tea people, Ohio Tea Co.  Can you see Kurt in the photo below.  I was taking a random photo of the street and there he was!!  LOL!  Terry is in the photo on the left in the blue shirt.

Here is Kurt, one half of Ohio Tea.  He and his father in law Terry own and run the store.  It was fun to run into them.  I told them I was headed to their store in Canton later in the day to buy some tea for my office.

Hartville had this building painted, I thought it looked great.  The artist,

eyerusssss

,
(https://www.instagram.com/eyerusssss/) did a great job.  I know I always say it, but I wish more businesses painted the brick walls with fun art.

Eyerusssss has painted in Canal Fulton, Umbrella Alley, and other places.

After Hartville and the 720 Market I headed to Canton to the Ohio Tea Company.

5154 Fulton Dr NW Canton, Ohio 44718

Look at all this tea!!!  Each month if you come in you can try a 1/2 ounce for free.  I love picking and trying new teas.  Sad thing is I like 95% of them!

I bought this sign.  Eva from Ohio Tea laughed, because when she bought it and actually thought of me!

While I was there I noticed that they had a new display.

They told me that a customer had made it for them.  I loved it.  It was made completely out of tea strainers.

I have a tea tree at home that I have ornaments and tea items on... and I realized I did have some tea strainers on my the tea tree.  I took them off and was very surprised to see how many I really did have.

I wanted a giant one at the top like they had.  So, I did go on eBay and found a10 1/2 inch round stainless steel steep ball that I purchased.

I started with the 10 1/2 ball and then added the tea strainers from there. Since tea strainers come with chains and hooks it makes it very easy to connect them together.  I am sticking with all metal silver ones for my project.

I think it looks pretty cool.  I don't plan on looking for more strainers, but if I happen to find some for a $1 or $2 then I may pick them up.  But, at this time I am happy with my tea strainer art.

I added my strainer art to my plants in the window.  I think it is very fun.  It could also go outside and be a windchime as well.  But, for now I will keep it inside and see if add to it over the next few years.  I do have to keep it fairly high, so that cats can't reach it and pull it all down.
