A friend was cleaning and she said that she had some tea and tea items for me, if I wanted them. Sure, I do!! I have a great collection of tea items for when I have my shop.
I made the tea from Bali. It was like a black hibiscus tea. It was very good iced.
For the past couple months I have been make a pitcher of tea every morning at work. I take and steep the tea in my steeper. Sometimes it is (5 tsp.) loose leaf tea, some times it is (5) tea bags. I do like my iced tea to have a little sweetness to it, so I do add two sugar cubes to the steeping tea.
I add cold water and ice into the pitcher.
After the tea has steeped the appropriate amount of time I add the steeped tea into the iced water.
Black tea- 200+ degree water, steeped 10 minutes
My friend gave me two tea pots, two tea cups, a tea daily calendar, and some tea from Indonesia.
I was excited to see that one of the tea cups was from a sweet lady who I went to church with that is now with the Lord. Likewise one of the teapots was from a lady who used to go to my church who is also now with the Lord. It makes the tea items even more special to me.
Then another lady from my church came across these teapots in her sons' new house. She asked if I wanted them. You know the answer to that, I do!! These are adorable clear glass teapots with a white tea recipe on them- these will be great for single serving teas.
