My friend found this cute little tea shop that we went to one morning before their Kurdish classes. It is super cute and the gals working there are so sweet!
The tea shop is tucked away on a street parallel to highway. Kind of what we in the states would call a strip mall.
Everything on the menu looked really delicious.
1500 IQD or Denarii = $1
3000 Denarii = $2
4500 Denarii = $3
6000 Denarii = $4
I went with the hand shaken grape jasmine tea. It was delicious. I also made friends with the gals behind the counter. They were impressed that my friend and I spoke some Kurdish....well, I only know about 6 words, lol.
They asked if I had Instagram, when I said I did, they handed me their phones and asked me to give them my information. They are know following, Kerrie's Cup of Tea...yay!
I thought the drink was really good. I got the notes of jasmine, they were light and refreshing. And the chewy jellies were fun too. The cafe was bright and clean. The prices were good and the staff was super friendly. I would recommend this place!!
*note, parking is tough, you may have to walk a distance...but it was worth it.
Fun things I saw while we were driving.
1 Peter 4:10-11, ESV
10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
