Day 9 started out with homemade Earl Grey ice cream for breakfast.
We had to plan ahead on this one!
My friend took six Mahmood tea bags and steeped them over night in 2 cups of milk.
The next day she poured in 2 cups of Earl Grey Milk, 2 cups cream, and a cup of sugar into the ice cream maker.
They did not have enough for one full cup of white sugar so it was half white sugar and half brown sugar. We think adding brown sugar might have been an issue...it took longer than normal to set up and there were some sugar crystals in it. It was not as smooth as ice cream she had made previously.
*note to self, don't use brown sugar in the future.
It mixed and mixed. And then went back into the freezer.
We let it set overnight, which is not what they normally do.
The result was this delicious Earl Grey ice cream. The Earl Grey flavors came through really nicely. I thought it was great!!!
I enjoyed my ice cream with some pistachio coffee I had purchased.
If you have an ice cream maker I highly suggest you make Earl Grey ice cream!

10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
