Stash Chai loose leaf

This large mug held my tea and all the milk I added!!!  So wonderful!!  You can add the milk hot or cold to your tea. I warmed the milk a little, just so it would not make my Chai cold when I added it.

I love a good Chai....warm or cold.  Well, the other night it was getting cool out, so I made a cup of hot Chai.  It was wonderful!  Again, I have said it before, but Chai is the only tea I add sugar too.  This Chai was a mix of black and green.

I was lucky to get to my tea at the Massillon Discount Center for $3.69.  I got a great deal.

From the website-      For our interpretation of this classic Indian beverage, we blend organic Assam black and green tea with organic cinnamon, clove, ginger, and cardamom. The brewed tea is very aromatic with a flavor that is slightly sweet, strong, and penetrating, with rich, full-bodied, lingering flavor notes. This tea is very pleasant plain or with a splash of milk and dash of sugar. It is exceptional any time of day-as a rich morning cup, an enjoyable dessert tea, or as a special treat.
Chai is usually brewed very strong, often concentrated, with lots of sugar and milk. Traditional Indian chai combines rich black tea that is boiled in milk with local spices such as cinnamon, clove, cardamom, and occasionally black peppercorns, ginger, and red chilies. The drink is then sweetened with sugar.

I had so much tea, that it filled up my cup and I had not added milk yet, so I had to get another cup and add the tea and the milk.  It is yummy goodness!!!

Tealightful Warming Walnut Green

I am a big fan of Warming Walnut Green tea!!!  Tealightful is a great tea product, but I do admit I store my loose leaf tea in air tight and dark containers to keep in the flavor.  I took some glass Argo tea bottle and sprayed them back- now they are prefect to store loose leaf tea in.  This tea is so favorable!  It is not the "grassy green" you sometimes get with green teas.

I had taken my steeper tea cup home to clean, so I had to make do with the mesh pincher steeper.  Not my favorite way to make tea, but it worked!
