12 oz Disposable Coffee Cups, Vanaki Cups

I have been product testing for several companies for products on Amazon.  I am loving it!!!  I am always looking for tea related items.
And I jumped on the chance to product test these disposable cups.   I thought these would be perfect for when people come over and I can send them home with a cup of tea.

The box was delivered quickly and the seller did a great job sending the package.

The set comes with - 85, 12 oz Disposable Coffee Cups, Lids, Wooden Stirrers , and 5 Cup Carriers.  All these products come for $29.99, that makes it about .35 a cup.

I have been enjoying these cups.  They keep the tea warm and the outside of the cup doesn't get too hot.  The lids hold on tight and work well.

The set comes with 5 cup carriers.  I love having reliable carriers.  I won't be sharing these carriers, lol.  I take tea to work daily.  It is sometimes difficult to balance multiple cups, but this makes it possible to carry two normal size travel cups.

If you are looking for disposable coffee/tea cups, these really are nice.  So, if you come visit, make sure you ask for a cup of tea to go!!!

Arbonne Essentials, Herbal Detox Tea

It's 2020 and I turn 48 this year.  I figure it's time to get back on track.  So, I am starting off with a 30 Day Cleanse.  Part of the Arbonne Cleanse, includes this tea.

This herbal tea is really good.  I could drink 3-4 cups a day.  I tried another "healthy" tea and I could not get it down.  But, this Arbonne Detox tea is much different, it is really good.  The main flavor I detect is the mint- but, I can taste other notes like fennel and other herbal notes too.

I am enjoying this tea at home and at work....

Not sure if it's the tea or the cleanse or a mixture of the two, but I have lost 5 pounds in the first week.  Good job Arbonne.  This tea is a keeper.

Earl Grey loves it when I use the mug that looks like him!

Alocs Portable Kung Fu Tea Set

I do get a stocking still, since I am single.  It's a perk of being the single child, lol.

I got this adorable "camping" tea set.  Not sure where I will use it, but it is super fun and portable.  Maybe when I go biking, I will pack this in my back pack.

And least  you think that I am not grateful for this stocking gift, since I am not sure where I will use it, I picked it out.  My mom did not have much for my stocking and asked if I had anything she could put in it.  I had just gotten this tea set, so I gave this to her to give to me.  I know we are super silly.

This set is so cute and so little.  Not sure how practical it is, but I look forward to drinking out of it.  And with Kung Fu tea drinking it will be perfect.  If I were looking to drink tea the regular way it really would not work, but with Kung Fu it would work.

The "Regular Way", is brewing 8 ounces and typically pouring it into an 8 oz cup and drinking it all at one time. You brew the tea once and drink the tea.  Basically I would I would want larger cups to drink from.

With Kung Fu you are putting tea in the pot, adding water, letting it steep for seconds and then drinking.  So, you are drinking little amounts but over a long period of time.  You can add water to the tea leaves over 10 times if you want.

When I took the Kung Fu class we added water to the leaves at least 8 times, let the tea steep seconds and then drank it.  It is a fun, different way to drink tea.  I like to enjoy different ceremonies.

Earl Grey thinks we are having a tea party...

It all packs up and fits inside the pot.  The handle unscrews and comes off.

It is nice how it fits in this little bag.  It makes it super portable.  And I love that it is not fragile...but it looks like it is pottery.

Story of my Tea- Blind Tea Tasting

This might be a tradition with my family.  We did it last year at Christmas and loved it, so we did it again this.

We did blind tea tasting.  My nephews and I love trying tea.  This year it was my mom, sister and older nephew.

This is the first company I helped with KickStarter.

The bag tells you how to make the tea.  It gives you the water temp, tells you how much tea to add, and how long to steep.

For the first one we did our sniffing of the tea, then tasted it.  We made our guesses.

I have to say I was the closest, I could tell it was a silver needle, based on the leaves.

Some other guesses- were that it smelled/tasted like catnip or grass.

We laugh so hard when we are guessing what is in the tea.  But, I have to say we are all getting better at guessing what we are tasting and smelling.

We have this wheel that helps us decide what we think we are tasting when we try the tea.

This our third blind tea tasting and we said we think that this our favorite envelope.  We liked most all of the teas.

My nephews say that they are going to make me a blind tasting set.  I love that!!  It would be easy to do, you just take a tea bag and don't show the person what they are drinking and you let them guess.

This one might have been my favorite.  And no surprise it was an oolong tea....which is my favorite kind of tea.

We had fun looking at the tea and trying to figure out what was in the tea.  Where those chucks of sugar? Caramel? Nuts?

We all did great on this one and realized that there was caramel in it.   My sister and I both realized there was hazelnut in the tea.  I think she might have mentioned it and then I jumped all over it.

It is funny sometimes you know you know a flavor, but just can't put your finger on it.  But, as soon as someone says it, you know they are right.  Also, I just had tried a hazelnut vanilla tea and I knew this reminded me of it.

Lastly, was this tea.  We all really liked it too.

We were all over the place on our guessing with this one.

This is such a fun concept.  I am so glad I discovered this place and so glad that my family enjoys tea tasting.
