Vita Coco Booster with chai and vanilla latte

I love coconut water.  I ran across these coconut waters with tea in them.  I thought I would give them a shot.  I have to say they were good  I am not a huge fan of drinks with calories, but there were no added sugars here, so that was a bonus for me.  I thought the flavor was good.  I liked the chai better than the vanilla latte.

This was something fun and different to try, but not something I would drink on a regular basis.

I definitely got the notes of coconuts- which I love.  And there is tea in these drinks, but I would have liked maybe a more prominent notes and flavors.

These were good and different, but not really tea for me.   I did like the coconut flavors.

Rise and Grind, Lavender Iced Tea

I was at the chiropractors for a check up and decided I needed a little tea for the ride home.
I stopped at Rise and Grind which is right on the way home.

I love that they have a drive up.  The staff has always been super friendly too.

There was a little too much lavender, but overall a great iced tea.

Dragonfly Tea Room - Coconut Oolong Tea and Hibiscus Limeade in Canal Fulton, OH

My favorite tea place within an hour of me is Dragonfly Tea Room.  The only suggestion I have for you is to bring your own tea steeper.

I will say I can't believe that places put loose leaf tea in a tea pot- because only the first cup of tea is any good!!!!  You are are tea room, you should know how to make tea!!!  If you let it over steep you get a super bitter cup of tea.

The last couple of times I have been here I have asked them to put a my tea in a steeper- this time they did not have a steeper in the kitchen and no empty tea bags.  I didn't have any in my purse, so I went to the gift shop and had to buy a steeper.  But, it was worth it!  If I am going to have a tea pot of tea I want to drink the entire pot.

Here is the tea steeper I purchased... I now will carry it in my purse.  I have had this issue with many other tea rooms and it is awful!!  You wonder why people don't think they like tea, it is because it was not made properly. You have to pay attention to those kind of details.  Steep time is crucial!!

I ordered my favorite, the coconut oolong.  For an oolong you only steep 3-4 minutes.  So, once the tea steeped 3-4 minutes I pulled the steeper out and I had had a wonderful pot of tea. I drank the entire pot.

I splurged and got the Victorian Tea.  I did not eat the Texas toast, but the quiche was delicious!!  I got the salad minus the dressing.

My friend and I split the tray of food below.  Oh, so good!!!  But, all that gluten made me so tired I took a nap in the afternoon.

They have a cute little gift shop as well.

You can buy there tea too.

This is one of the adorable rooms!!!  It is painted so cutely.

It was a hot one!!!!   But, so fun to have tea with a friend.

There are several tea rooms in the area, but for the price and what you get I find this one to be the best overall value.  I have never had a bad meal here.

Sure House working and enjoying tea

I am working on helping a friend with his poetry book, Rustling Leaves- Psalms for Seasons of the Soul.  You should check it out, it is a great poetry journal with 76 poems pointing you to a closer walk with God.  I helped write all the journal pages with prayers, praises, and questions.  You will also find 11 of my own poems in the journal.

I spent the morning hours working at SureHouse on this journal.  Working on edits and grammar, thinking of thought provoking questions, and praises to God.  I loved every minute of it.

While here I enjoyed several cups of tea too.

I enjoyed a hot chai and was able to get lots of work done.  It was a great Saturday.

I got another tea to go.  This is a great place to get tea in town.  And I am not saying that just because it is basically the only place, lol.  The tea here is really good.

They also carry my favorite, local Ohio Tea Company Tea here too.

Keeping the shelves of tea stocked full of Ohio Tea Company Tea

I love, love, love that my office lets us carry Ohio Tea tea.  They have amazing quality tea.  I am a huge fan.  When I was in the DR last fall I discovered Cacao Shell tea...it has quickly become a favorite of a lot of people in the office.  One of the other favorites in the office is the Hot Cinnamon.

We keep our tea supply pretty well stocked.

Ohio Tea gives a discount for large tea orders, so you should check with them if you want to order tea!!!

We also drink the Noel Christmas Tea year round....it is not only for Christmas, lol.

This is one my favorites below, Coconut Oolong.

You really do need to check out this tea company.  They ship for free in the US if you are only buying tea and you register on-line with them.   Check them out, you might surprised at their over 400 loose leaf selection too.

Sure House Chai Lavender with chocolate ganache

For my birthday I was given a couple Sure House gift cards....so I have had so much fun spending them over the last few weeks.

I always get excited then my friend, Rachel, is working!  She makes the best drinks.  REALLY, we can tell when she makes it!!

I picked some drinks for my friends in the office.  My go to lately has been the Lavender Chai.  I like their chai and have been fun adding different flavors- chili is a fun option too.

These are the treats that I avoid...but boy do they look great!!  They are just not in the healthy habits plan any longer.   But, man!!!  They look and smell delicous.

Okay, another office run.  I got the lavender chai and this time with chocolate ganache- it was life changing!!  Maybe the best tea I've ever had.  WOW!  That chocolate tipped it over the top.  Not in the healthy habit living, but a super fun treat.

Today, just a chai with coconut milk.  This is great option too.

This was the day of my book Meet and Greet at the library.  I treated myself to a chai.  It did not disappoint.  I am a fan!

Last of the gift cards....sad day, lol. I will have to start paying for my drinks again.
I did a run again for work.

I got the lavender chai with chocolate ganache one last time.  I think it is just too much to get a on a regular basis.

All these drink were 5 tea cups.  Amazing how far they have come.  I used to think they were just "okay", but I think that they have upped their game. I think that their teas have gotten better over time.

The first time I went I was not overly impressed.  That is one reason I suggest you try something twice.  The first time could have been someone's "off" day for making the tea. Or maybe you got a tea that you did not like, so next time try something different.

Also with tea, if you don't like it, make sure you made it correctly.  Was your water temp right?  Did you steep it for the right amount of time?  Give it a second try.

Same with people, try not to judge them- you never know what they are going through.  Don't immediately write someone off.  Give some grace!
