Menno Tea

I found this tea at Hartzler Dairy (Wooster, OH area) I thought it looked fun and since my mom's family are Mennonites it might be a cool connection.  Plus, a lot of my cousins went to Goshen- where the guys who made this are from.
I must say I really enjoyed this tea. It had a great mint flavor and taste.

From the website:

Menno Tea Original

The Original Menno Tea offers a simple, sweet taste with a hint of mint. We started Menno Tea with this one simple recipe, brewing each batch by hand in the campus cafe.

When we launched Menno Tea from our Goshen College dorm rooms in 2010, our aim was simple:  to brew delicious tea inspired by a family recipe from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  But as Menno Tea grew, we found that our Mennonite roots gave us more than just a name for our tea - they gave us a set of values to guide our practices.

Teacup sweater ornaments

My friend has a TEA ministry in France.  So, when I went to see her I took her these little ornaments that I made to use some how in the ministry.

They are super easy to make.  I cut a sweater template out on paper, then cut old wool sweaters or felt to make the sweater.  I take a paperclip and fold it into the hanger.  I then take other felt and make the tea cup and thread is the string for the tea bag.

These two are wool sweaters that I "felted".  Felting a sweater is easy.  You wash it in super hot water and then put it in the dryer.  You can then cut it and it won't unravel.

These sweaters are made from felt- they are a lot thinner.

Here they are- all complete!  I just love them!!!!

I need to re-center the coat hanger on this one- hahahaha

STASH, Breakfast in Paris

This container may say "cool gear", but it is full of hot tea!  I tried Stash's Breakfast in Paris tea.  It was great!!!!  It's a black tea with lavender and vanilla in it.  It is even better with milk

Heartland Point Pickwick Raspberry Iced tea

I ordered an energy infusia raspberry iced tea the other day from Heartland.  It was too strong and too sweet.  I had them add some of the black tea to it and that helped a lot.  Next time I have a tea there I will be prepared to order a 1/2 and 1/2.
