Kelly’s Cafe, Iced Chai, Brunswick Ohio

I spent the weekend at Beulah Beach and I decided to take a new way home and see what Tea places I could find on the way home.  It took all the way to Brunswick until I found something.

It's super cute inside.

I may want to come back and try the crepes! They had some really fun sounding crepes.  I love crepes with savory items inside.

There is a nice sitting area, and I loved this painting on the wall too.

It was hot day, so I enjoyed a nice Iced Chai.  It was great and super refreshing!!

Tea cart/truck or maybe a Tea She Shed for tea parties

a girl can dream.....  How fun would a tea truck be???  Winter would be chai and scones.  Summer would be humus and bubble tea. Okay, I know that it would be a ton of work.  My dad says only the first time would be fun.  He maybe right.  So, I am just dreaming...
Working weekend festivals and driving around town going from business to business selling mid morning treats.

My dream truck would be a purple VW bug travel van

Okay, I have to say this camper option is awesome too!!!

Maybe I could start by people/groups renting out my She Shed for tea parties in my back yard!!

Just need a round table that fits up to 8 inside, with a fun floral oil cloth with a glass or plexi glass top.
No plumbing needed, no electric needed.

Outside my Tea She Shed

How about this for my mailbox?

This is the kind of yard I want to manage!

fun sign would be needed too

I'd be lucky to have this....hahahaha

Cardamom & Curry, White Ganges

I discovered Cadamom & Curry Tea recently and I love it!  It is not an inexpensive tea, but it is all natural, healthy and delicious.

They blend these tea for wellness, so enjoying the flavor is an added bonus! I just love tea and I love teas that you know are healthy and good for you.

I am usually not a fan of pears in my tea, but this one is really good. I would never have known that there were pears in this tea.  The spices blend and mix so well with this tea, I highly recommend it.

Vintage silver charm…The whimsical fusion of white tea with fruit and spices!
White Tea – Cardamom – Pears – Lemon Peel – Cinnamon – Ginger – Cloves – Black Peppercorns

WHITE –

Heat a cup of water, but don't let it boil. If you boil the tea you burn the leaves.. Place 1 tsp. of tea in the steeper for  2-3 minutes.

As I drink this I wish I had some Chicken Tika Masala, or Curry Chicken. I love the Indian flavors.

This is a great tea!!  I love the flavors!

The more you buy, the more money you save.

Here are some other flavors I am enjoying!  They are incredible flavorful!  I get at least two cups of tea out of each serving of tea.

Sure House , Golden Milk Tea Latte with maple syrup

It might be a bad thing that I found my tea at Sure House in Orrville.  I am loving the Golden Milk Latte, the touch of tumeric is amazing.  It is like a chai tea with an Indian flair.

When this is normally made they use honey, but I am not a fan of honey, so I had maple syrup added. My friend, Rachel, works here and she helped me discover this amazing tea.

I ordered some tumeric spice and I am trying to figure out how to make this tea on my own, but I have yet to master it. But, I will keep trying.

Story of my tea, Valentines Special

I purchased this blind tea tasting set, as part of start up.  I think it is a great idea.  I did this at Christmas with my family and my nephews have been asking when we could do it again.  It finally worked to try this again on Mother's Day.

I was sent 4 packets of teas.  The packets only say how to prepare the tea, nothing about the teas themselves.  I let my nephews pick the order we tried the teas in. We then try to guess the tea.  It is so much fun!!!!

This is the first tea we tried.  It was tea cake, like a pu-erh tea.  We all smelled the tea and tried to guess what kind of flavors were in the tea.

We prepared the tea and all said it smells and tastes like tea.  We tried to use the tea wheel they sent and guess flavor notes, but with no success.

Once we all gave up, we read the card to see what kind of tea it really was.

Now we are trying tea #2.  The boys are preparing it.

We were pretty sure that this was a white tea, since the temp was so low.  The flavor on this tea was okay.  It was nothing great, but nothing bad either.  The flavor was mild,

Again as much as we tried, we could not figure out or guess this kind of tea.

#2 was a white Peony tea

Here are trying tea #3

This tea we had more of a clue on, it said it was best with milk and sugar.  We knew it was going to be a chai.

We prepared the tea, in the cups that we would drink from- I added milk and sugar.
I then added the tea to the cups.

Making the tea....

This was our favorite one.  We still not good at guessing what was in the tea.

Kyle kept saying there was fruity notes, I told him there would not be fruit in chai tea. I was sure that there was chocolate in it. Most everyone agreed with me on that.

Then when Kyle was reading about the teas he started dancing around, saying “I was right!!”   There was a fruity note to this Assam chai.  Kyle loved that he was right!!!!
But was right too, there were coco nips in it!

The last tea we did was good too. But none of us guessed anything about it.

#4 was this Darjeeling. It was a good one too.

We can’t wait to do this again!!!  It’s so much fun to sit around and guess flavors and laugh and just be relaxed trying Tea.  I love love love that my family is willing to do this with me!
