MoonStone Coffee, Peppermint Chai and Journey in Time

Moonstone Coffee is at Journey in Time in Orrville.

I love Journey in Time, I have found some great tea kettles here.

I have never had Moonstone Coffee, but was excited to see what kind of tea they may have.

I found the prices to be reasonable, which is a plus.  And there was also a variety of items on the menu which I always enjoy a nice selection too.

I decided to try the chai and add some peppermint to it.  It was really good.

I may have done a little shopping as well, lol.

Friendly service- yes
Good prices-yes
flavorful tea- yes

I am very happy with the chai I ordered.  It had nice spice notes and then the peppermint just kicked it up a notch.

Sure House free tea day...Large Hot chai with lavender, a shot of chocolate ganache and oat milk

Free drink??  I am in!  Yes, I will even wait in line for 30 minutes, lol.

When I arrived there was already a line out the door- but that is okay, the day was nice.

What a great idea- having someone sponsor free tea and pastries, up to $10.
I ordered my favorite treat....large, hot chai with oat milk, then I have lavender and a shot of chocolate ganache added....it is amazing!!  I mean really incredible!

They also had some shopping available, it was fun morning to check out the vendors and have treats.

There were plants, cookies, rugs, jewelry, books, and other fun things being sold.

I ran into lots of friends while in line.   I love my small town!

This is my all time favorite drink here at Sure House.  Hot chai with oat milk, lavender and a shot of chocolate ganache.  There are so many wonderful flavors going on here.  The spice of the chai, the sweetness of the lavender and the chocolate goodness of the ganache.  So great!!!!

Sure House Chai Lavender

I got my friends and I matching t-shirts.  Well, not exactly matching, but with their favorite things...

We had fun matching shirts and then I headed off to get us drinks at Sure House.

My friend, Rachel, made us our drinks.  We think Rachel makes the best drinks.

This is the best place in town....and really about the only place in town.  But, really it is a good place for tea!!  They also carry the Ohio Tea Company Tea that I love.

They have gluten free scones too that I think are really good.

I love the lavender chai from Sure House.  I am also enjoying kombucha above, not beer, lol. I realize that it may look like a beer.

I bought the large chai and then have them add lavender syrup, it is so tasty.  The chai is nice mix of spices and sweetness.

Red Mug -Lumberjack Latte

I am a big fan of this cafe that opened in 2016.  I love that they are not afraid to share their passion for Jesus to others.  It is all over their walls, in the music, and the servant attitude of the staff.

I am always met with a smile here.

90% of the time here I get the Lumberjack Latte.  It is so tasty and warming.  It is made with a roasted chestnut tea and has maple syrup added and then frothed milk.

The service is great.
The tea is delicious.
The prices are comparable.
5 Teacups for me!!!

Starbucks Passion Iced Tea in Medina

Headed through Medina I decided to see what tea I could find.  I purchased my favorite iced tea at Starbucks, Passion Iced Tea with half the pumps of syrup.  Otherwise it is way to sweet and sugary for me.

They were busy that day, but still they were friendly and helpful.

On a hot day, or any day for that matter, I love a good iced tea.  And this Passion Iced Tea is one of the best I have found.  And it can be made at home too- with Tazo Passion Iced Tea- that is what Starbucks uses.  But, if I am away from home I will stop at Starbucks and get this refreshing tea.  It has some tart notes that I love from the hibiscus.  And it is also sweet from the sugar- which is why I ask for half the pumps of syrup.
