Get Loaded Tea, Instant tea packets

 Get Loaded Teas...

I found these at my local surplus store for .50 each.  There were hundreds of them.  I decided to try them out.

These normally run about $3-$4 on line.

I was a bit nervous, because I can't stand stevia...and there is stevia in these powders.  But, for .50 I will try them.

The half and half one was the first one I tried.  I have to say I really liked it.
1 package goes in 32 ounces of water, that is 4 cups of water.
I did one package in 6 cups of water.

There is just a slight after taste, but nothing like I normally get from stevia.  The flavors are really good.

I think these are a fun alternative to having to make a gallon or half gallon of tea.  The calorie count is low.  It's worth a shot if you are in the area of Wooster....

I tried the Glass Slipper, a strawberry coconut tea, this was super tasty too.

32 ounces of tea for 20 calories, not too shabby....in my case I got 48 ounces of tea.

I always keep track of my teas, do you?
I have a journal and I write down every company I have ever tried.  This could be silly, but I do it anyway, lol!

Bangkok Tea Recipe, a Thai Arnold Palmer

I love to try tea in different places and then try to recreate it.  I have been thinking about starting a YouTube Channel.  And I thought people could send in recipes of tea drinks and I could show people how to recreate them.  Well, here is this one....

I discovered Bangkok tea, not when I was in Bangkok (2016), but when I was in New York City (2025).

I asked the gal, in New York, what was in a Bangkok tea.  She said it was like a Thai Tea but instead of evaporated or condensed milk they use lemonade.  I thought that was easy enough to re-create!!

I already had my favorite Thai Tea, Cha Tra Mue.  This is the brand they used then I was in Thailand.
And then I just bought lemonade that didn't have pulp.

I made a gallon of tea, so I used 16 scoops of loose leaf tea.
I then steeped that tea for 10 minutes in water over 200 degrees.

The aroma of Thai tea is not like any other tea!  It has this amazing caramel aroma.  I just love it.  Then they also put in this orange dye to it has a unique orange color that you won't find in other teas.  The base tea is an Assam tea.

You can see below the Thai tea orange color!  It is so unique.
I played around with half tea and half lemonade.  But I ended up liking 3/4 tea and a 1/4 lemonade.
Play around and see what you like best.  Also try different lemonades, that will effect your final tea flavor too.

I thought this was great!  Kind of like a Thai Arnold Palmer.

The Tik Tok Tea Cheesecake

I jumped on board to try the yogurt cheesecake with Bischoff cookies trend that is on social media.

2 t Earl Grey Tea
1/4 C Hot Water- over 200 degrees, steeped 5 minutes
1 C Greek Vanilla Yogurt
6-7 Tea cookies, preferably Biscoff

Mix the tea and yogurt together.

I did not have Biscoff cookies, but I found these tea "biscuit" like cookies like cookies.
After I add the cookies I refrigerate for 4-5 hours.

I'd say this was a fun treat.  A new way to get some fun flavored yogurt too.

I did not have the Greek yogurt and I still liked it, but I am sure it would be even better with Greek.  I think the Greek yogurt would make it thicker and not as tart as the low fat yogurt.

It's okay to play with your food.
