Mint and Lime Thai- Thai Tea and Watermelon Bubble Tea

I went to Canton the other day on my day off.  I was craving some Asian food.  I decided to try Mint and Lime Thai.  It was excellent!!! 

I ordered a Thai Tea and reminded me of Thailand immediately!  It tasted just like when I was there. It is flavor that is hard to describe there is no other tea like it.  It is made with the Thai tea and then sweet and condensed milk.  Thai Tea is always bright orange and has a hint of vanilla to it.

I got the Avocado Curry, it was so delicious!!  I could have eaten another entire serving of it.  There is something about those fresh Thai flavors that make food sing.

I also then got a Watermelon Bubble Tea to go. It was really good and refreshing. 

Just down the road from Mint and Lime is Ohio Tea Company.  Every month you get a 1/2 ounce of free tea to try.  It is a great way to try their teas.  I got a new oolong to try.

I also stopped out at my parents to see the 7 swans a swimming on the neighbors pond.  Yes, SEVEN swans a swimming!!!!  Here are 5 of the 7.  They were really graceful.  I guess they were migrating south and needed to stop.

Pocas, Instant Ginger Milk Tea

When I went to Cincinnati and visited Jungle Jim's I picked up this instant tea. Lately I have become a fan on the handiness of instant tea... and it's a bonus when the flavor is on point.

While in Cincy my parents and I stayed with our friends.  We had a wonderful breakfast were I enjoyed this tea for the first time. I love the ginger flavor.  It has the kind of a spicy ginger kick to it.  I thought it was really good.

The bonus of this breakfast was their cat.  I tried really hard to make friends with this cat, but she was a bit stand offish.  But, I was able to did enjoy her sitting behind me at breakfast.  

I give this tea 4 cups.  I thought it was really nice. It has great flavor, the price was good, super easy to make.

 

Hazelnut Vanilla, Ohio Tea Company

Enjoying some tea at work along with some delicious homemade pumpkin bread. 

This is a black tea, so you want to have your water over 200 degrees.  You will want 1 tsp per 8 oz of water. You will want to steep your tea for 4-5 minutes. 

The aroma of this tea is so good.   I can smell the almonds and hazelnut as soon as I open the canister.  It smells so yummy.

This Hazelnut Vanilla is so wonderful! I am big fan. I like this best with milk, but it is really good without too.   Being at work  I did not have milk to add, but it is still super good.  

I gave this tea 4 tea cups.  It is like fall in a cup- but I do drink it year round. The flavor is rich and deep.  I love it

I love fall!!  I found out after I took this photo that I was leaning up against poison ivy.  I was really glad when did wake up with a swollen face.

This fall my roses bloomed longer than normal.  This rose bush was given to me by my niece and nephew about 10 years ago.  It has survived being replanted twice.  I love seeing it.  It reminds me of my niece and nephew every time I see it.  

 

Underground Cafe, White Chocolate Apple Chai Latte

I am a fan of the Underground Cafe in Wooster.  I love all the unique flavors that this cafe always has on hand.  Most coffee places have only one or two tea drinks, but this cafe always has lots of choices, and they are always good.  The staff is always super friendly and helpful too.

I decided on the a white chocolate apple chai latte.  It was a tough choice since there were so many options.

The flavors were really great and on point.  It was really different to have white chocolate and apple together with chai, but it worked.  The flavors really blended and were fun.

I gave this latte 4 tea cups.  I would have given it 5 stars, but I don't believe any real tea was used.... it was all syrups.  Flavors are still really, really good and their prices aren't bad either.  I recommend this place.

My friend and I ate at Salsaroja Bar and Grill in Wooster.  It was a fun and unique Mexican restaurant.  It is a build  your own dish.  We are given a piece of paper with all the choices on it and then you pick what you want on it.  Kind of like Chipotle.   I thought was really good.

After we ate and got something to drink we went and practiced at the Board of Elections.  We both then worked the elections in our town.  I hope you vote. It is so important to be able make a difference with your voice.  Let your decisions be heard through your vote. Be a part of the process.

Trick or Treat and My Tea Cup Costume

I had some adorable trick or treaters stop by my house on Halloween.  These are some of my favorites.

This is my little cousin in her real ballerina custom.  She looked beautiful!

It was a great night to have kids stop in for candy.  I even dressed for the occasion.

We had a custom contest at work. I did not win, but I still got a gift card.  Even as an adult I will take a "Participation Award", lol!!
