I landed in Chicago....form Des Moined. Next to DC and then home. I think I took the long way...but it was a free flight, so who am I to complain. I love frequent flyer miles.
It was a beautiful day to fly. I love watching the cities I am flying into come into view. It is like Ta Da, here I am!!!
While flying I love to treat myself to teas. I like finding new tea places, but normally I can only find a Starbucks. There was an Argo Tea Place that I have been to that I have enjoyed, but it was closed this trip. Except for the long lines, Starbucks does a nice job.
The pumpkin chai was really good. The base drink of chai is good on it's own, but the pumpkin notes amp up the flavor. I gave it a 4 tea cup rating because it was a little too sweet for me and I even asked for half the pumps of pumpkin.
Holiday decorations are going up. It is nice, clean airport. It does always seem when I am this airport I get a work out- that I have to go from one end of the airport to other. I will do a happy dance if just one time I land at the same concourse as I depart.
