Joyful Cafe, Iced Chai, Wooster Ohio- Health Point

A place where adults with disabilities can have a place of employment and be a part of the community.

I decided to stop in at the Joyful Cafe at Health Point Wooster.  It was a hot, hot day, so I tried their iced chai.  It was very tasty.  The staff was super friendly and I love that adults with special needs are working here.

If you are in Wooster, near Walmart, stop in and visit the Joyful Cafe.

Jitters, Green Tea Matcha Frozen- Lavender, Millersburg, Ohio

Another Wednesday Wanderings brings me to Millersburg with my friend Abby.  This is Jitters, it is in a strip mall of sorts.  It is a nice large building.  Very clean and the staff was super friendly.

There were lots of seating areas and even rooms were you could have some privacy.

They even have meeting rooms that you can rent out.  Their largest room holds 100 people and can rent for $50 an hour.  The smallest room is the Oak Room and holds 8-10 people for $10 an hour.  They have four rooms that they rent.  What a nice way to bring in an extra income- I like that.

Nice, clean place.  I think you will like this place, seems like there is something  to eat and drink for everyone here.

They have a lot of food choices too.  Breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, wraps, sides, kids food, Pastries, and more.

I tried something completely new for me!  I got a lavender Green Tea Matcha Frozen drink.  It was refreshing.  I am not a huge matcha fan, but this did not have an over powering matcha taste.  It was okay, maybe not something I would run out and get again, but it was not bad.

They have a drive up too.  I think that is huge for a coffee/tea place.  Who doesn't love the ease of a drive up!

I did finish my drink,  it really wasn't bad, just not my thing.  I am sure if you like matcha you would probably really like this drink.  If  you have had this one, let me know your thoughts.

Tea sets

I love my tea cups and tea sets.  Most of them have special meanings and bring back fun memories, and some where just a good deal at  2nd hand store.

Pick a tea set and invite yourself over for tea!!!

This was my first tea set.  I bought it in San Fran Chinatown. My sister and I have almost matching sets.  It was so fun when we picked out our sets together.

This was a brand new set I got for $10 a 2nd hand store.  It was still plastic wrapped in the box.

This was $10 from a store I used to work at, Audrey's Attic.  She had a fun mix of new and antique items.  I love the flowers on this one!

This one was a gift and was hand painted!!!

This one was $6.00 at Goodwill.  I think it was new too, it still had packing styrofoam attached to and in the tea pot.

This was a birthday gift. It's a Kungfu Tea set. This is when you want to have the full tea ceremony.  I even went to a class to learn how to serve from this set.

I bought this one, just a fun tea set with the goldfish in the cups.

I got this set at the Octagon House at their gift shop.

This set is from Turkey.  A friend who lived in Turkey was selling the tea pot at a benefit auction, I purchased it.  Then the next year she sold the table and chairs which were from Turkey also... I had to buy them as well, lol.  The cups are Turkish too.  I went on line and purchased tea from Turkey to brew in the pot.  I am ready for my Turkish Tea Party!

This is a tea set I bought in Conakry, Guinea Africa.  I was blessed to go to a tea ceremony, it lasted over 2 hours.  You have 3 glasses of tea, each one is made differently.  It is a really cool experience.

I love displaying my tea sets and seeing them everyday.

Broken Grounds, Peach Green Storehouse Iced Tea, Millersburg, Ohio

Abby and I were out and about on my Wednesday Wanderings.  We decided to try Broken Grounds in Millersburg.  It is a nice cafe.

I decided to try the Peach Green Storehouse Iced Tea, it was refreshing and very good.  Storehouse Tea is from Cleveland Ohio, I just had some of their tea for the first time about a week before.  The tea is light and refreshing.

On Sunday a church meets here, Broken Grounds Church.  I love that too. A coffee/tea place with a ministry!!

Abby and I enjoyed our teas.  It was a fun day running around the area looking for tea.

There is also a nice place to sit outside.

Sure House Iced Golden Milk Latte

I was treated by a co-worker  to an iced Golden Milk Latte.  I was excited to see my friend Rachael.   She made a great ICED Golden Milk Latte.  She recommend I try my favorite drink, iced.   And she was right, it was delicious.
