Mixing drinks..Tazo Passion and Bigelow Half and Half iced tea and lemonade with Pomegrante

The weather is warming up...it's only -4 today!  hahaha
Well, I love to try to mix my teas together.  And this weekend I found a NEW favorite!!!

 Tazo® Passion® Filterbag Tea:
An exuberant herbal infusion of hibiscus, orange peel, rose hips & passion fruit flavors.

Half and Half Iced Tea and Lemonade with Pomegranate :
For pure refreshment, indulge in the taste of rich black tea and sweet lemonade with pomegranate the way it should be enjoyed... fresh brewed!  Six family size tea bags each make a full quart of perfectly blended tea and lemonade in just minutes, in the convenience of your own kitchen. Lightly sweetened and full of flavor, Bigelow Half Tea & Half Lemonade with Pomegranate weighs in at only 10 calories and costs just pennies a glass. 6 boxes per case. Makes 36 quarts. Net Wt. 3.29 oz. (93g).

Since I do not add suagr to my teas, this is perfect.  The lemonade in the half and half adds the sweetness to the mix.  There is 10 calories per glass, but I figure I can live with that.  I love this blend of the two teas.  Get creative and try mixing some teas you like together!!!

I used one Bigelow bag and 2 Tazo bags for a gallon of tea

I can not get enough of this stuff.  It is so refreshing.

TEAVANA Lavender Dreams and Pineapple Kona Pop

You know I love my cold and snow!!!!!  What do you do when it is cold enough to make your nose hairs stick together and the tips of your fingers turn purple?  DRINK TEA!!!!!

I also love to mix my teas.  Here are two Teavana teas that I DID NOT like as indivual teas, but I love mixed together. I have them mixed in the same tin and always drink them together now.
Pineapple Kona Pop and Lavendar Dreams...when mixing teas remember if they are different kinds you brew for the lowest tempature.  Since the herbal tea shcould be steeped for 6 minutes and the flavored white for 2 minutes, I only steep this combination for 2 minutes.  It is important to remember this when you mix teas.  The steeping time really changes the flavor.  If you steep the white too long it becomes very bitter. As I found out the day.  I forgot that the lavendar tea was white and I steeped the combination for 6 minutes. It was really nasty :)  After I drank as much as I could, I threw it out and started over again.  Brewing for only 2 minutes, what a difference!

Polar Vortex tea day...TEAVANA Opus Rouge

What do you drink on the coldest day of the year?  The coldest day in almost 20 years?  Well, tea of course!!!!

Opus Rouge is one of my top 5 favorites from Teavana.  I recieved a text from my sister the other day that her husband gave her Opus Rouge for her birthday.  She says that she really likes it too.  It has a great grape flavor.

In addition, students also take home a tea sampler.

Margaret's Fine Imports

In her bio, Margaret Harris jokes that she "may have had her first 'cup of tea' when she was only one day old." That's because Harris was raised in Poland, where tea, she writes, "is the primary household beverage." Today, she applies her training at the Warsaw Medical College to discuss the health benefits of her brews with customers at her tea-and-coffee shop, Margaret's Fine Imports. In addition to stocking more than 200 types of loose-leaf tea, from Chinese green tea to British teas such as Taylor's Yorkshire Gold tea and PG Tips, Harris completes proper tea times with German and Polish sweets, Asian-style tea sets, and napkins autographed by the Mad Hatter.
