Clean Cause Yerba Mate, Watermelon Mint Sparkling Tea

I love finding deals at Everything Surplus.  This is where I discovered Yerba Mate in a bottle from Guakaki, they have a great bottled Yerba Mate.

Well, today I discovered Clean Cause Yerba Mate with sparkling water!!

Remember Mate is not true tea.  It has caffeine but does not come from the Camelia Senensis plant.  This is an herbal drink that is from South America.

When you see a drink you never know if you are going to like it...so I did the unthinkable....I opened a can in the store and drank it.

I figured if it was bad I would be out $3 for the case of drink.  But, if it was good, I would be buying lots more.

Purified sparkling water, organic cane sugar, organic erythritol, organic yerba mate extract, citric acid, organic mint extract, organic watermelon flavor, organic stevia extract

12 cans on the website is $35.95...I got 12 cans for $3.00

Well, you can see below I liked it!!  I bought 10 cases of it.  I actually gave a case to friend, but she didn't care for it, so I gladly took it back and kept it for myself.

In the store it is around $3 a bottle, so how could I not go all out, since I could get 12 bottles for $3.

I didn't think I would care for it, since it has Stevia in it, but I didn't even notice it.  And that has to be the first time EVER I drank something and didn't taste the Stevia- I didn't notice it had it until I read the side of the can...that NEVER happens.

The flavor is a little minty and not real watermelony, it is just a nice mix.  And I get that yerba mate after taste that I really enjoy, plus the bubbles like I would get in a soda...but better yet it is not soda!!!

I am a HUGE fan of both these Yerba Mate drinks.

Teacup planter for Mother's Day

I came home from my parents on Mother's Day to find this beautiful planter on my front porch!

As I walked closer I could see that it was a tea cup!!!

When I opened the card, I could see it was supposedly from my cats, Orange Pekoe and Chai.

I looked at the card and I had two ideas who this thoughtful gift was from by the hand writing!  I texted my first thought and was right!  I wondered where she got the pot and she said she made it!!!  How crafty and talented is she???

She said she bought the pot and had what would make the perfect "handle" in her shed.  I just adore it!!!!  It looks so beautiful!

I am still trying to decide where to put the planter.  I thought it was going to be stone and really hard to move.  Here it is super lightweight!!!  I love it and the metal handle!!

This is my dear creative friend who actually did make the teacup planter!!

My friend this was the photo that gave her the idea for the planter

Orange Pekoe and Chai- my fur babies, who clearly DID NOT get me the teacup planter for a Mother's Day gift!

But, boy are they adorable!

They love sleeping in with me on a Saturday when the sun comes through the window.

So sweet and innocent when they sleep!
