di Tazza in Vancouver WA

lots of fun tea choices.  Next time I'm getting a "Dirty Chai Latté". I learned it was chai with a shot of espresso.

I did not get this- but it looked great!!  (okay, I actually got one on Saturday- it was great!!)

Lavender Bleu Tea Room in West Linn OR

While visiting my sister, we always find a fun place for tea.  We ate in OR at Lavender Bleu- it was really yummy!!!!

There were 10 tables in the tea house.

You walk through a cute shop and then come to this courtyard and into the tea house.

We started with sherbet to cleanse our pallet

Then we got a cup of broccoli cheese soup.  We think it was a child's tea cup.  It was cute.

I had  lavender Earl Grey tea, it was great.  I was glad that they steeped it in the back.  Some tea places put loose leaf tea in the pot and then it over steeps by the time you want a second cup.  But, this way, they did the correct temperature for the tea that we each individually picked out.

The  top tier were Sweets, they were nice....we were so full that we could not eat it all.

The middle tier had Scones with clotted cream, lemon curd, and jam, along with fruit.

What a fun lunch with my sister!!!!!

The bottom tier, was my favorite!!  I loved the savory treats.  Cucumber sandwiches, Salmon Paini, red pepper and artichoke pinwheels, turkey sandwiches, and spinach quiche.
