Panera Chai and Plum Ginger Hibiscus Iced Tea

Panera has a great chai!!!  I love the spice and creaminess of this drink.

I was given a gift card to Panera and I couldn't wait to use it.  I enjoy the food and treating myself to the chai lattes.   They also have good tea that is not sugared, Plum Ginger Hibiscus Tea.

My favorite is the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and Thai salad.

I give the Panera Chai and the Plum Ginger Hibiscus Ice Tea, both 5 tea cups!  Both teas have great flavors! The iced tea has free refills which is a big plus too.

Impromptu Family Tea at Christmas

Christmas 2022 was the first time my sisters and all their families and I have been together in over 2 years.  It was so nice to be together.  There were gifts, shopping, lots of photos and lots of games to be played.

Masterpiece was a favorite game from our childhood.  We used to play this as sisters with Aunt Joyce.

The day before my sister and her family were set to leave we were playing games and decided to have an impromptu tea party.

We checked our cupboards and freezers and ended up with some scones, cookies, crumpets, and tea.  You don't need to have fancy finger foods or fancy dishes...you just need friends and/or family to share a cuppa with.

I enjoyed Chrysanthemum tea from China town in Cleveland.

So, fun to spend family time together- even better with tea!

The family time ended after this tea.  I am glad we had this time together.  Be sure to take the time you have and make the most of it.

Christmas fun and some tiesta tea

When I was little we had an Advent Calendar just like this one.  My mom made the one we had when we were growing up.  I made this one to match it.
This calendar makes me happy and brings back good memories of Christmas' when I was little.
Ever day I put on a new felt item leading up to Christmas and Jesus's birth.

This year at work I decided to add some fun to the office during the holidays.  I brought this moose into the office and we took turns hiding him all over the office.  When you found the moose you were responsible to re-hide it.

Mr. Moose traveled a lot in the 20 some days leading up to Christmas.

I also had fun at Christmas dressing up.  I have over 20 holiday tops- so everyday at work I came in with a Christmas shirt and matching glasses or hats ...it was a lot of fun!

I had fun being the elf on the shelf too.

One of my co-workers got me this wonderful tea gift.  I got this great tea planter and lots of tiesta teas!

Variety packs are a great way to try tea.  When you do sampler packs you can try a lot of tea at one time without feeling like you are wasting a tea if it isn't what you hoped it would be.

I love all these teas, what a great gift!!!

So far, I am enjoying all of these teas.

Mom's old sweaters into teacup ornaments

I took some of my mom's old sweaters and turned them in to tea cup ornaments.  I think they turned out pretty cute.

I gave one to my mom and hung some of Tea Tree that remains up year round.

This was a pretty simple project.
1. I drew a tea cup on paper
2. I cut it out
3. I then traced it on felt.
4. Cut out folded felt- so I was getting two tea cups.
5. Then I sewed them together with needle and thread
6.  Then I added the candy cane....the candy cane is made out of pipe cleaner
7. Lastly, I added twine as the hanger

You can buy candy cane pipe cleaners on amazon too.

These below were my inspiration......
