#EnglandTeaTrip2025
#KettlesandCrumpets2025
#KerriesCupofTea

Remember AAA Triptiks???  This is like that on steroids.   I loved traveling as a kid and having Triptiks.  Turning the pages and seeing where we were headed and where we had been.  This book/journal is like that for our trip.
I put each days itinerary, facts about the places we are visiting's, and a place to journal each day.  Use this as a guide for the trip and a souvenir for after the trip is completed.
It's 100 pages.  It also tells you about the flags of England, the United Kingdom, and the Queen.  It will tell you what we should expect with the weather.  The difference between scones, crumpets, and pikelets.  It will also tell you dos and don'ts for afternoon tea.  It will be a super handy book as we travel.

If you don't win a journal, you can purchase in Amazon and have it shipped to you to enjoy as well.

We will be staying at the Tower Hotel
possible views...and rooms..

Tower Hotel rooms and suites are conveniently located near Tower Bridge and offer some of London’s finest views across the River Thames, Tower Bridge and the quaint St Katherine Dock Marina.

See below FIVE afternoon teas*.

The first written records of the estate date back to 749 AD when an Anglo-Saxon King granted the estate to the Bishops of Winchester.

The boundaries of Highclere Castle Estate were marked out in Anglo Saxon times when the Estate was owned by the Bishops of Winchester. We've been farming here for centuries with an overriding sense of respect for those we share the land with, be it insects, birds and all of the wonderful wildlife that calls the Estate its home.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding natural beauty, Highclere Estate consists of 5000 acres which is comprised of 2000 acres Arable, 1200 acres Parkland and 1800 acres Woodland and Highclere Stud etc. As time moves forward, Highclere's farming endeavors are continually adapting.

The Cotswolds is just sightseeing, no food scheduled here, but you can always purchase food on your own.

The Cotswolds is a region of central South West England, along a range of rolling hills that rise from the meadows of the upper River Thames to an escarpment above the Severn Valley and the Vale of Evesham. The area is defined by the bedrock of Jurassic limestone that creates a type of grassland habitat that is quarried for the golden-colored Cotswold stone. It lies across the boundaries of several English counties; mainly Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, and parts of WiltshireSomersetWorcestershireand Warwickshire. The highest point is Cleeve Hill at 1,083 ft (330 m), just east of Cheltenham. The predominantly rural landscape contains stone-built villages, towns, stately homes and gardens featuring the local stone.

Kensington Palace was once a small and suburban villa, known as Nottingham House. New monarchs William III and Mary II chose this modest mansion in 1689 to be their country retreat. Over the years, Stuart and Georgian monarchs transformed the palace into a fashionable home for Britain’s young royal families.

Queen Caroline shaped the palace and gardens, and Queen Victoria spent her childhood here. She left to live in Buckingham Palace in 1837. Kensington later became home for minor royals, including her daughter, the talented sculptor Princess Louise.

More recently, the palace has been home to Diana, Princess of Wales, Princess Margaret and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It is also the London home of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children

It began as an apartment for the Fortnum family, then became an interior decorating department in the 1920s and 1930s, and later an antiques department and a restaurant known as St. James’s.
