The Spice and Tea Exchange Chagrin Falls- Blue Mountain Green Tea...and bonus of Pineapple Paradise Green tea made the next day

I was at Trader Joes near Chagrin Falls and saw that there was The Spice & Tea Exchange near by, so I knew I needed to check it out.

It is a really cute town.  It reminded me of the Cuyahoga Falls area a bit.

There were fun old buildings and cool architecture everywhere.

The Spice and Tea Exchange is right on Main St.  Parking is tough, but there is a parking lot behind the store- that is where I went.

I liked that they had smelling jars where you could see and smell the tea.  The tea itself I thought should be in dark bags where sunlight could not get in.  Having the sunlight on the tea does dimmish the teas life and can effect the taste.

It is a very cute building with a tasting area in the back.  They will make any tea you want.  They also have two free samples as well.

The samples they had were Elderberry Forest Herbal Tea and Mystic Dragon Green Tea.

I purchased the Blue Hawaiian tea to take with me.  They made it like a pro, lol!

The flavors on this were not my favorite.  I did not think there was a ton a flavor.  I added some sugar to it, but I still didn't get much from the tea.  It was okay, I would have just liked more, cause the aroma was soooo incredible!  I did get pineapple notes that were nice though.

They also have candles there.

Taking my Hawaiian tea to enjoy on the road home.

Making some The Spice and Tea Exchange Pineapple Paradise Green tea this morning. It’s delicious and so refreshing. I’m a big fan!!! This tea is pricey, so it will not be one I use at tea parties- lol…or even buy a lot of. But it is a fun treat. But, there are other companies who make really good tea for half the price. Sorry Spice and Tea Exchange- you are not in the budget.

The four teacups is because of the price....not the flavor on this one. This one has great flavor!

Making iced tea is super easy.
4 tsp of Pineapple Paradise Green tea
1/3 C sugar
steeped tea for 10 minutes, with 175 degree water.
Then put the tea in the pitcher with water and iced.

Tea cart and tea set

Our town garage sale was happening. I had a garage sale with my own family.  As I was cleaning up from my garage sale and heading to Goodwill to drop off the items that did not sell I drove by house and noticed this tea cart.

I turned the car around and went and checked it out.  It was listed for $50.  And the couple who was having the sale were not home.  They had a box with a sign that said, "If you see some you want, put the money in the box."

Well, I saw something I wanted, but I wanted to barter!

This cart was beautiful.  I think it is cherry wood.  It had a shelf that could be taken out and also be used as a shelf.

A co-worker lived next door to this family.  So after talking to the co-workers husband, he texted the man...and in the end it was mine for $20!

I was so excited to get this tea cart that was in fantastic condition.  I also liked that it was a little smaller than most I had seen.

I just recently had sold my couch and was using two chairs side by side...and I was looking for a table to put between them.  This was the answer I was looking for.

In 1997 I went to Europe with a friend from college, my aunt and her friend.  We all bought linens.  I thought it would be fun to use the linens on this cart.  I bought this cart on Saturday and my aunt passed away on Sunday.  I thought it was a fitting tribute to her.

The only other I bought at the Orrville Garage Sales was a tea set.  My friend was out shopping and came across a full tea set for $30.00  She was able to get it for $20.
I love the set!!  It has a tea pot, coffee pot, water warmer, sugar, and creamer.

It is silver plated, but I don't care.  I have never seen a set that still had the water warmer for this kind of price.  I will work on polishing it up.

The cats sit and wait for their tea....

I then found these plates for .50, so I have added them to the shelf/tray of the tea cart.  These dishes are so bright and beautiful.  They are from Japan.  I love them.

6 plates, 2 cups, and 2 saucers for $5!!
