Time to craft with teacups

Last year I made the nativity set with a teacup.  The nativity set people came from Hobby Lobby.

This year I made Christmas ornament trees in teacups.

Get creative.  I went again to hobby lobby and bought most of my supplies, except for the vintage tiny ornaments- which I already had.

I bought a small cone to use as my base- in the floral section.  I searched and searched and then finally went to the floral section and found the cones.

I purchased red and green fluff balls along with red, green, silver, and gold bells.  I bought tiny gold and silver balls and pipe cleaners to use as fillers and create the look of garland.

I had the tiny wreaths, the greenery, and the hot glue gun.

I first hot glued the cone to the cup so that I was sure it was straight.
Then I just started at the bottom and worked my way up the cone.

With this vintage one, I used ornaments and the star on top from my miscellaneous ornament box.

I am already trying to decide what next years teacup Christmas craft will be.
Stay tuned.

Christmas tea party at work

I always like to do a tea menu for anyone I do tea for.  This way if their are allergies people can see what is in the tea.
Also, I don't sell any of the teas, but if someone one wanted to buy the tea they would know where the tea was from.

The night before I prepped the iced tea.

I made wassail...the recipe is in my tea recipe book.

I made the wassail when I got to work at 6am.

I purchased fun winter cups for the hot tea.

I had candy canes and sprinkles that could go in the chai.

Vanilla spiced masala chai.

Masala Chai with egg nog froth....

Raspberry Truffle iced tea was the other drink I offered.  Everyone could have a cup of tea as well as an ornament of tea to take home.

I have off on Wednesdays, so I am always happy to bring a tea party to your office too!
