David's Tea Caramel shortbread Tea

I have become a fan of this tea!  David's Caramel Shortbread Tea.  A great way to start my morning at work.  I start at 6am and I love a nice pick me up, this is it for me!

I have been drinking it a few different ways...with milk and without.  I love frothing vanilla syrup into the oat milk and pouring it on top the best.

Below is without milk...and it is still really good!

I steep the tea bag in water over 200 degrees.  This is an herbal tea, there is no caffeine in this tea.

This tea is so full of flavor!  It has stevia in it, but I hardly noticed.
Apple (apple, citric acid), Raisins, Brown sugar, Natural and artificial (almond, hazelnut) flavoring, Elderberries, Willow bark, Almonds (almonds, sugar), Hazelnuts, Sour cherries, Raspberries, Stevia extract.

I love oat milk.  It has a nice nutty note to it.  I put some oat milk in a glass and then add vanilla syrup and froth.

Since I am using a larger cup, I put in 2 tea bags.  I tea bag is generally good for 8 oz.  Larger cups require two tea bags.

For an herbal tea you steep 5-6 minutes.  You can steep longer if you want for an herbal.  There is no actual tea in an herbal tea so there are no tannins in it.  Tannins in the tea is what cause the bitter taste when you over steep.

So delicious!!  I love this tea and the froth!

This tea gets 5 tea cups! The flavors are warming and so delicious.  It definitely has a shortbread note to it too. I can't stand stevia in things, but I can barely taste it in this tea.  I get small notes as an after taste, but it is not strong and the tea this tea is worth it to me.

Making my dining room my tearoom

I have yet to have a tearoom of my own, so I have turned my dining room in to my tearoom.

I've hung up the cats drinking tea paintings I have made.  As well as the photo that Ohio Tea made of my cat Earl Grey as a tea label.

I have these other 4 paintings as well.

This painting was done of by one of my friends' friends in Iraq.

I also have a giant tea cup I made out of pebbles from Lake Erie along with sea glass.  The other is a teapot puzzle I put together and framed.

I also have giant Scrabble Pieces above the doorway that spell TEA.

Here is another puzzle I put together and framed.  I loved this puzzle!

I have a tea cup tree as well.

I love having people over for tea.  I love sharing a cuppa around the table.

Someday I hope to have a teahouse in my back yard to hold tea classes or even a teahouse in town.  Until then I will hold pop tea parties in my home and in others homes.  Let me share the joy of other cultures tea traditions. Lets get together and share tea.

Fruit and Berry Oolong Tea with Tae

I was gifted a new tea for my birthday, Tea with Tae.

My friend had a completely tea themed birthday gift that was super fun.  I could not wait to try the tea.

I tried the Fruit and Berry Oolong.  I love that she remembered my favorite tea is oolong.

With this oolong tea you don't want your eater to be over 190 degrees, and you steep for around 4-5 minutes.

All-natural oolong tea leaves, dried fruit bits, fennel seeds, hibiscus, berry flavors

This was a nice average tea.  I would have liked more oolong flavor.  It had a very light flavor as well as light berry flavor.  It was nice tea, but when I looked online, I thought it was a bit pricey for what you get.  5 teabags for $7.
