Tea Product testing items

I have been having a blast product testing.  I am always searching for tea related products.  I have been product testing since August....but just found these tea products since January.

Stove top kettle- not something I would use on a regular basis, since I have electric kettles.  But, if I have a lot of people coming over for tea, I would use it as a back up for having water ready.

Glass Stove Top Kettle

Groshe, two items

One Cup, Stove Top "Kettle" of sorts.  Not something I would normally work, it is for one cup.  Electric kettle is much easier to use.

Tea steeper- ** a must for a loose leaf tea drinker***

Milk Frothers- The Bosaly one was my favorite.  Holds a lot and super easy to clean.

Milk frother

Electric Kettle- this one was my favorite, since it has temp controls.

Electric Kettle

Elephant mugs

My favorite item????  That is a tough call, I already had an electric kettle, milk frother, and a tea steeper- and those items are a must for drinking tea and making lattes.  So, I might have to say the elephant mug with the tea bag holder might be my favorite, since I did not have it already.

If you get a chance to product test or try new items, do it.  You may discover a new way to do things or a new "tool" that will make your life easier.

Day 7 of working from home- featuring Bird and Blend Dark Choc Chili Chai

It's  Friday and day 7 of working from home.

I am sore from yesterdays fall, but doing okay, and since I have no fever I am cleared for work.

This is basically week 2 of social distancing or as I like to now say- "Exiled for the goof of the realm"

I love chai and I love Bird and Blend Chai.  Bird and Blend is from England, so I don't order from them very often.  But, the do occasionally have free shipping, so that is when I order.  They have amazing teas.  They are on my list of top 3 all time favorite tea companies.

It's Friday so I decided to spice it up, with a dark chocolate chili chai latte.

Cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, chilli, cocoa (cocoa nibs, cocoa shells), Sri Lankan black tea, natural flavouring

I frothed the milk and added sugar.  This frother heats and froths at the same time.  It is super easy and fun to use.  I love frothing milk!

This is a great latte.  I love the dark chocolate and chili.  There are your traditional chai notes, but then the chocolate and chili come through.  It is so wonderful!!

I did pop into my town for a few minutes...I dropped off some of my new coconut kombucha to a co-worker.  I also stopped in to see my parents and drop off some of my egg casserole.  I stayed away from all parties to help out the realm.

Stay healthy out there.  Spread joy and love to those you come in contact with.

Hope you are finding joy and sharing joy!

Day 6 of working from home, featuring Ohio Tea Company Bohemian Raspberry Green Tea

I got up and was temp free, so I was ready to start my day.  It was garbage day so I went to take the garbage out.

Unfortunately, I took a fall while taking out the garbage.  I actually fell into the garbage can!!

This is from the video that the neighbors sent. I asked them for it.

I cut my hand and hit my head.  I am so sore!!  I can't believe I fell, but there is good news...the neighbor caught the fall on their RING doorbell, so there is a video!!

But, now back to the tea!!!  I waited until mid morning to have some tea.  The say the best time to have green tea is after 10.  It's not good to have green tea on an empty stomach- it's not good for your kidney's.

Today I went with Bohemian Raspberry Green Tea.  It is so good.  I love the real chunks of raspberry.  The flavor is so good.

Japanese style sencha with raspberry pieces and natural raspberry flavor

This is such a good light, fresh tea. I love the fruity notes.  I had two cups out of one serving of leaves.  This is a great tea!!!  It is does not have the grassy, earthy notes that some green teas have.

Later in the day my mom popped in for a wellness check and to bring me so wound closures, she is so sweet!

Tonight I used a heated massager for the longest time, trying to work out the soreness.  Earl Grey stayed with me and made sure I was okay.

Hope you are finding joy and sharing joy!

Day 5 working from home, featuring Storehouse Tea, Earl Grey

Day 5 of working from home, no fever so I am okay to get work.

Today I am featuring a tea from here in Ohio- Storehouse Tea in Cleveland.

I am making a London Fog Latte.  I am using Earl Grey tea, milk and vanilla syrup.

I boiled the water with my electric kettle and steeped the tea for 4 minutes.

I poured milk into my frother and added vanilla and frothed.  It heated and frothed at the same time.

Then I poured the milk into the cup of tea.

This was a nice tea, the bergamot oil was a bit strong, but it was nice. I love a good London Fog Latte.

This was a nice way to start my day from home.

I also made an egg casserole that will last me a TON of meals!  I love making an egg casserole.  Each time I make it I make it differently.

My base is always some sort of hash browns.  Then I add stir fry peppers and onions, eggs, and cheese.  The shake up is the extra items- this time I added garlic, S&P, sausage, and  a bag of pre-cut sweet potatoes, carrots, and potatoes.  (i loved the sweet potatoes and carrots this time!)

One of the greatest things of making this casserole is that you just drop everything you have on hand in the casserole dish.  I bake at 350 for about an hour.

Today is a beautiful day, our office gave us a challenge to get some Vitamin D for the day.  I went outside and picked up sticks.  I also put of some flower pots in the porch.

Earl Grey is loving the sun too.  He spent a lot of time soaking up the rays.  I opened the windows and the cool breeze was so welcome!!!

Are you finding the positives in your day and time stuck at home?

For me, I am cleaning and decluttering.   I love tossing stuff.  I am going room by room.  I have gone through the closet, drawers, and cabinets in the bathroom.

I did lots of tossing in the laundry room.  I threw out 6 or 7 pair of shoes, cleaned out my freezer, my cabinets, tool box, and a closet.

Today I started in the kitchen.  I cleaned under the sink, cleaned cabinets.  I have much more to do, but I love the process.

In the past couple of days I have also got all my Shutterfly photo books up to date.

I am also in the process of gathering all of my account information in one place.  My "Legacy File" with passwords and information that my family will need if something happens to me.  I love being organized.

To me these are my positive things.  What are your positives during this lock down time??

Bags of trash!!
