Each month you can get surprise package.  You don't know what you are going to get, it's a big surprise!!  There are different levels of tea sets you can purchase.  Each month is themed.

I tried it for the month of June- it was craft theme.

This month was three big bags of tea and a sample size.

Then I also got a chai kit!!!  It came with 8 spices to create my own chai blends.

Vanilla black tea, lemongrass, vanilla rooibos tea, orange peel, peppercorns, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves

I also got a kit to make a dream catcher and a mold to make sugar cubes.

Lastly, I received tea pics and colored pencils. 

Plum Deluxe is an organic tea of the month club.  For $10 a month you get to try new teas, seasonal teas, and free samples and free shipping.  You do have to a quarterly order, so that is a 4 month commitment. 

Guayaki Yerba Mate Enlighten Mint Tea

I found these tea in a gas station in PA, while traveling.  I wasn't sure what to think, but they were on sale, so I tried them.

I have to say they were really good.  If there wasn't so much sugar in them I would get them again.  But, for me I don't like to add sugar to my tea- kind of defeats the purpose of the healthy drink.

The peppermint was really refreshing as was the Revel Berry one.  Again, other than the sugar, I would recommend these teas.

Red Rose Lemon Cake, Cold Brew and a sunny day

If it is not too hot, I like to sit outside and read and drink tea.  But, it has to be really cool out!!  So, that usually means spring or fall, lol.

I got this Red Rose, lemon cake, at a scratch and dent store for $1.  

I thought I would try it cold brewed while I read.

Cold Brew- water, ice cubes and a tea bag.

The great thing about cold brew, is that you can add water several times and it tastes just as good each time.  By not brewing it with heat you are not releasing tannins- which gives you a smoother, sweeter tea.  It is quicker than brewing your tea for iced tea too.

This tea is too sweet for me. I have tried it cold and in kombucha, but I am not a fan.  I thought I would like it, since I had Red Rose, Lemon Chiffon, and I did like that one. I wonder what the difference was...

Bubble Tea House, Mango with Blueberry poppers, Providence RI

I was in Providence RI for a mission trip.  We were helping work on the Envision site.  We worked on construction and landscaping projects.  We also did a VBS, Vacation Bible Study, in the evening.

We spent our day off at the beach.

One afternoon we had some free time and it was one of the teens birthday, so we girls went out for Bubble Tea.  None of the others had tried Bubble Tea before.  I was so excited to take them out to try the tea.

We were about 15 minutes from a Bubble Tea House.

They had this fun giant Bubble Tea cup outside the store.  I loved it. I want one, lol!  They also had a giant one inside the store too.

How could you NOT want to sit in the pineapple chair???  These girls were having fun!

This was really yummy!!!  I loved it.  Bubble tea is so much fun.  I always thought adding poppers would be better than the tapioca balls, and I was right.

They had a lot of fun using their straws as musical instruments...way too much fun with the straws.  They were also using them to spit water.

Even popping the bubbles is really fun....

Oh the laughter and giggles!!! So much fun!!!  Laughter is good for the soul.

MCC- Tea Ware

MMC in Kidron Ohio

Do you shop second hand shops? I do!!  And there is a great one in Kidron, Ohio.   MCC (Mennonite Central Connections)  You never know what deals you would find there.  Things are super clean and nice there.

Not a lot of people want to dishes and china and longer, so going to a thrift shop is a great place to find inexpensive dishes.  I got these cup and saucers for .50 each.

These bright little plates are great for cookies or a dessert treat with friends. A great deal for .25 each.

I also found these fun little dishes that are nice to put cookies or some other treats in.

Okay- so here is a really fun story.  A coworker was telling me about the tea cups that she collects.  We were saying how fun we were having finding pieces at MMC.  She sent me a picture of a great green tea cup and saucer that she had gotten at MMC awhile back.  We were oohing and ahhing on how cute it was and what a great deal it was...$1.50

Not even a week later I was at MMC and I saw the exact cup and saucers!!!  I texted her to see if she wanted them to go with what she had.  She said no, she was good with the one.  

When I thought about it, there were 4 cups and saucers and there are 5 of us gals who work together and we all drink tea.  I decided to get the 4 cups and ask my friend who already had her cup and saucer and bring it to work.

So now us 5 gals all have the same cup, my thought was when we drink from these cups we could think of each other and even pray for each other.

I love that we all have the same tea cup and saucer. It was like it was meant to be.
