The Red Mug, Lumberjack, Mt Hope

I was out and about on my Wednesday off and ended up in Mt Hope.  Not at all where I planned to be on this day, but I am glad I tried The Red Mug.
I started out in Barberton at the chiropractor, then after some detours I found myself in Mt Eaton.  When I looked to see if there was any tea places were nearby, I then saw The Red Mug in Mt Hope.

I found the Red Mug inside this building.

The staff here was super friendly and easy to talk too.  They were very helpful with the drinks they had and what were in them.  I would recommend this place.

nice amount of treats.

Nice shop.  I liked the feel of the place. If I had more time, I would have stayed and grabbed lunch.

I was excited to try The Lumberjack.  It was a very good latte.
Chestnut Tea, milk, and maple syrup.  It was rich and smooth.   I enjoyed it.

I drove past this place the first time.  But, now I know where it is!!!  It is before the Mt Hope Auction.

Teavana Lavender Citrus Sage old vs new...

I was beyond excited to see Teavana came out with bagged teas. My favorite of all the Teavana teas was Lavender Citrus Sage!!!  I discovered Lavender Citrus Sage tea in 2013.

I first went into a Teavana store with my sister out in Vancouver Washington.  It is was started my love of loose leaf teas and my blogging.  I couldn't believe I had never discovered such wonderful tastes in tea before.  I wanted the world to know that they needed to ditch their tea bags and all use loose leaf tea.
I was so sad when Teavana closed all of their stores.

What is in my favorite tea??? The ingredients include: Candied pineapple pieces, (pineapple, sugar), sea buckthorn berries, citrus slices, orange juice bits, flavoring (pineapple, tangerine, orange, grapefruit, lemon), pineapple chips, apple slices, lavender blossoms, sage.

I had been saving this tea not wanting to use it all, I was afraid when it all gone I would never find a tea like again.

Ingredients- apple, lemon verbena, candied pineapple, natural flavors, rose hips, orange peel, licorice root, lavender, chamomile pollen, and malic acid

Then I discovered Lavender Citrus Tea.  I tried it and I HATED it!!!  As soon as I tried it I knew there was chamomile in it.  Why, Why, Why!!!  Why would they ruin my wonderful tea with chamomile??!!

I can't wait to try the other flavors and see if they are any good.  I am so disappointed.  I just wish they had given it a completely new and different name.

If you still want to try this bagged tea- or other flavors, you can get it at Walmart and Target. At Walmart the tea is $5.47 a container and has 15 bags. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Teavana-Citrus-Lavender-Herbal-Tea-Tea-Bags-15-Ct/886535649

Target has the tea for $5.79 https://www.target.com/p/teavana-citrus-lavender-tea-bags-15ct-1-2oz/-/A-53442106

So, it is back to the drawing board. trying to find a tea that lives up to my lavender citrus sage.

Making Homemade Tao Lavender, fresh mint, raspberry leaves, and lemon balm Iced Tea

When I make tea I almost always use raspberry leaves, I don't think it gives any extra flavor, but the leaves are good for stomach issues, women's issues, and each leaf is packed with potassium, iron, magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin B, and vitamin E, along with a number of powerful antioxidants and alkaloids that give the tea such a diverse range of health benefits.

I love the summer if for nothing else the fresh mint for tea.  I can not stand the heat, but I love fresh mint from garden in my tea.

I also use my lemon balm in tea as well.

I mix all these flavors together and come out with some pretty fantastic tea.  I put the lavender in a tea bag, so the lavender does not into the tea.

I only add about 1/3 cup of sugar

I usually make two batches of tea with all the herbs from the garden.
If I don't have much mint  in my garden I use Bigelow Plantation Mint.  I think that the mint in that tea is almost as good as the peppermint tea in from my garden.

I have my kitchen turned into my tea station.  I love playing with all my tea.  I encourage you to play with your tea too.  Try mixing flavors together.  Try teas you would drink hot, cold.  And teas you normally drink cold- drink them hot.  Play around with your tea.

Laci Le Beau- Dieters Tea, lemon mint

A friend for work gave me this one to try.  Should I take offense?  I did not :)
This was a good tea.  I love a good mint tea.  I didn't loose any weight, but I didn't expect too either, lol.

Love me some tea!

I need this in a t-shirt, lol!!

Canal Fulton Goodwill teapots

I picked up a few more teapots for my fence.  Canal Fulton Goodwill came through on fun teapots.

I found some brightly colored ones.  I love the yellow.

Fun to find 3 yellow ones!  Hope it looks fun and not trashy.  I know sometimes too many garden "extras" can cludder and make the yard look trashy.

I know have 10 tea pots among my flowers.

Teekanne Rosehip & Hibiscus

At my sister Jill's I raided her tea cupboard.  She drinks as much tea as me, or maybe more. I really liked this tea. I'm a big fan of hibiscus- but at times it can be tart.  This was not too tart for me. I'm honestly not sure what a rosehip taste likes... but the tea was good and I'm sure the sweet  rosehip helped add to the yummy flavor to the tart hibiscus  ðŸ˜‰

Rosehip & Hibiscus Flowers

This traditional blend is a pleasant combination of sweet Rosehip and sour Hibiscus Flowers. The infusion has a gentle fragrance and a highly aromatic taste. Indulge yourself with this healthy thirst-quenching drink and enjoy the beauty of this brightly reddish brew.

Try this tea!  I think you will like it as much as I did.  :)
