Solenna's Tea Torremolinos Spain

I found real iced tea!!!  It had been 4 days of searching Spain, but I finally found some real tea!!!

We gals had an afternoon off and I remembered being here in 2013 and again in 2017, so I asked them if they wanted to go exploring.  The old city is so much nicer than down on the beach.  It seems super touristy on the beach.

I finally found iced tea in Torremolinos!!  Yes, I was really this excited to find tea!!!
I ordered just a plain black iced tea- no syrups, no bubbles, nothing extra.

This tea gets 5 tea cups.  The flavor was good, the price was good, and it was the first real tea I found in 4 days in Spain.

2024...girls outing...

Here are sights from the old part of the city in Torremolinos.  It was beautiful, super hot but oh so beautiful.  Every where you looked could be a post card.

When I was here in 2013, I ate in cafe here with my mom.  And we have a picture by this light post.

2013...

                                                                 back to 2024...

You had to be so careful on the steps!!  In 2013 I fell.  The steps were really winding and no real height to them.

Gifted dishes

In the original box still!

Camelot China, American Rose, 1655 Japan

A friend said she was getting rid of her dishes and her mom's dishes...did I want any?  Ah, sure, you know I do!!!

She had full sets that I could go through.  I was so excited, I take these tea cups and saucers believing one day I will have a shop to use them in!  My basement has lots of boxes of dishes just waiting to be open and used.  I love it.  It will be so fun to pull out the cups and saucers and remember who gifted them to me and start all new memories with them!

The really interesting fact about these dishes was that my friend picked out her dishes some 20 years after her mom had picked out her own dishes.  My friend had not seen her mothers dishes, but look how similar they are!!!!  Both simple pink rose buds!

So, some day you will come to my tea shop and you will get to use these cups, saucers, and the matching tea pot.

Medina Farmers Market and tea findings- Bubbleberry and The Eccentric Panda

My friend and I were out hunting bargains in Medina.  We decided to walk up to the square since we saw activity happening there.

Turns out it was their farmers market that happens every Saturday from May to October from 9-12pm.  There were lots of vendors and food trucks.  It was very nice.

We went to Bubbleberry for tea first and then checked out some boutiques and the farmers market.

I got the same drink I got last time, cause it was so good. I love their Lavender Milk tea.
The staff is always super friendly.  I love the Christian music that is being played.  It is just a very nice shop to pop into!

Lavender Milk Tea, no bubbles

Lunch at The Eccentric Panda

The food was excellent.  The tea was good, but I am giving it 4 tea cups because it was a little too sweet for me.  The flavors were good and the staff was friendly.  I just would cut out a little of the sugar.

Yo Yo! Fresh Tea- Strawberry Mint tea in Brussels

I made it to Brussels!!  I flew from Akron/Canton Ohio, to Chicago, and then Brussels- I had no sleep and I was exhausted with still one more flight to go.

I was in search of some good tea.  And then I spotted Yo Yo!

I also picked up an Earl Grey and lavender cookie.  The cookie was just so so, but the tea was great!

Green jasmine tea with lime, strawberry and fresh mint.  It is a winner!!

This strawberry mint gets 5 tea cups from me.  The fresh mint leaves pushed it over the edge!  I did not get any poppers or anything.  I just got the tea.  It was super refreshing and I tried not to gulp it down!

They had lots of fun tea options.  When I ordered the gal said I was getting her favorite one.

Can you see what is right down from Yo Yo!

It was the lady in green, lol.

I did pop in to Starbucks to grab my Belguim Been There Mug.

I did also pick up chocolate as gifts for friends at home.  The Belgium chocolate is some of the best I have ever had!

The pretty countryside as we flew in.  I was so ready to land!  I had one of the worst seat mates EVER!  I was glad to be done with this 8 hour flight.
Landing in Brussels was quick and uneventful.  The airport is very nice and clean.  Not at all bad to get around in.

TSAoCAA Peach Milk Oolong Tea Parma Ohio

My friends and I were in Parma having Sushi.  And next door was a tea shop.  So, after sushi we headed over for some tea.

The peach and oolong flavors I love so much were both there.  I really enjoyed this tea.

We ordered at a kiosk and were amazed at the varieties.

This is a nice, clean, fun tea shop.  I really enjoyed my Peach oolong milk tea- This place gets 5 teacups from me.  I can't say if you needed customer service what that would be like- all our order was on a screen and never interacted with anyone.  But, the service was quick and seamless.

If you are in the Parma area I recommend revolving sushi restaurant.
