KTE, Fair Trade Nepal Organic Green Tea- Ginger, World Crafts- Kidron

I love World Crafts in Kidron, Ohio.  They have some of most unique items and treasures...things that I would find only on a mission trip.

While there the other day I found some tea on sale.  I scooped it up!

Here are just a few items in the shop-

This KTE tea makes a great iced tea.  I put 8-10 tea bags in a pitcher with some hot water and 1/4 C sugar.  It was delicious.

The tea also came with this fun little bag.  It is great to throw a cell phone and some cash in while running around town.

Have some tea from the Himalaya's without having to travel there.

The price was great, the service in the store was great and the taste of the tea is perfect. It is not overly grassy, as some green teas can be.  I like the light ginger flavor.  I have only made this iced so far, but I can say I loved it iced.

Big Eye, Thai Tea

My office has a company pass to Top Golf- and they are kind enough to let us staff use it.

I took some girlfriends to Top Golf for the day.  We had a blast!!!

It is always fun to hang out with these gals.  We go to church together.  They are the sweetest!!

Then we stopped at Big Eye in Fairlawn for lunch.

I ordered the Calamari- which was fantastic.  And a thai tea.  It was a really nice Thai tea.  Every time I have a Thai tea I am instantly taken back to Thailand.  There is no tea like a Thai tea.  The flavors are unique and not like anything else.  I love to have Thai tea.

The staff was friendly, the price was good, and the drink was spot on Thai!

This is a really nice place to eat with friends.

Kusmi Tea- Prince Vladimir with Trade Joe Blueberry Lavender Almond Milk

My friend went to Trader Joes and got me these two fun almond milks to try.  Both were fantastic on their own, but even better added to tea.

I made this great Prince Vladimir Tea.  This is a Earl Grey base and then has the fruity notes- I guess that why it is a "Prince" tea, lol.

Black tea* (95%), orange peel*, cinnamon extract, natural vanilla flavor, natural clove flavor, citrus essential oils. *Organically grown ingredients

I brew this tea around 200 degrees and since it is a black tea, I steep for 3-4 minutes.

Since it already has the fruity notes, I thought adding blueberry almond milk could be a nice touch.  And it was!

This almond milk froths great!  I loved it.  I ate it right off the spoon.

I discovered Kusmi tea when I was in France. The tea is all organic. These are Russian teas flavors with  fruit, spices, and flowers, giving them a french twist.

From the website, "Our story begins in 1867 when Pavel Kousmichoff founded the tea house in St.Petersburg. Success was immediate and Kusmi tea quickly became the favorite of the tsars. In 1917, fleeing the Russian revolution, the Kousmichoff family set up their workshops on avenue Niel, in Paris. The company was bought taken over in 2003 by Sylvain and Claude Orebi. In Kusmi Tea the two brothers recognized a gem and they decide to take over the reins."

I gave the tea 5 teacups.  My favorite was the vanilla notes.  The citrus notes were also nice.  This is a nice strong tea.  The blueberry almond milk added to the tasting note too.  It was a great play on flavors.

Sangaria Royal Milk Tea

I found this at World Market.  I enjoy a good milk tea, but the sugar is killer for me.  Milk tea can be described like chai without the spice.  Its creamy and I think delicious.

World Market is a great place to find these kinds of drinks.  I often find teas there that I want to try that are from different areas of the world.

Too much sugar!!  But otherwise it was great.

I am a fan of the flavor, the price, but not the sugar.

22 sachets for $6.95

This is a milk tea that I really enjoy and it has less sugar than most.  It does still have some added sugar, so I make sure I have this as a treat.  I also add more water than 8 oz.

I am a fan of milk tea.  This one has a lot of flavor is also creamy and delicious.  I love the instant tea when I am in a hurry or looking for a treat.

Tea Wisdom, Tea Library - Lemon Ginger and Moroccan Mint

I have a friend I am helping with a book project.  As a thank you he sent me this package.  I loved it.  And with gifts as my love language it was right up my alley.  All the items have meaning and I am blessed to have good friends.  And I can't wait to tell you about the poem journal he is writing!

I love surprises!!  So, when this box came in the mail I was super excited!!!

Check out all these items!!  A Bible journal, a journal, tea, a purple mug with blessings on it- Blessings is my life word and purple is m favorite color, a Colorado Starbucks mug, lotions, a special wall sign, and some napkins with peacocks on it.  When we were in the DR together on a mission trip there were peacocks every where.  All the items are special.

I would encourage you to encourage someone this week with a special gift.  It doesn't have to be as big as this.  It can be a card thanking someone for something they have done, it could be a gift card some where they like to go, it could be anything you want it to be that would mean something.

I can not wait to try all all the items.  The first thing I did was make myself a cup of the Lemon Ginger green tea.

The Tea Library came with four kinds of tea.  The first one I tried was the Lemon Ginger.  I also made the Moroccan Mint as an iced Tea.  Both were wonderful!!!

These tea although there are not loose leaf tea, they were great!  The flavors and aromas came through right as I opened the bag.  I looked on line, but I was not able to find a website for them either.

These is a green tea, so I heat the water to about 175 degrees and steep for about 3 minutes. I was able to get two cups of tea from one bag.

This was a really nice tea with notes of ginger and lemon.  It was not a grassy green tea, I thought it was really nice.

To make the iced tea, I used 8 bags of the Moroccan Mint tea  (and also Lemon Ginger tea) and 1/3 cup of sugar.
Since it is a green tea, I heated the water in my kettle to 185 degrees.  I filled the pitcher 1/4 of the way up with the hot water, putting the 8 tea bags in and the 1/4 sugar.   I let it steep for 10 minutes and then took out the tea bags and filled the rest of the pitcher up with cold water and put in the fridge.

This is an easy way to make iced tea.

I also made the green Lemon Ginger Iced Tea....

You do not need need much sugar at all, this is a great way to cut sugar in your life.  Use less sugar each time you make iced tea.

Sugar and tea bags in the bottom of the pitcher and then add the hot water.

Once done steeping I add more water to fill up the pitcher and put in the fridge to cool.

I am giving both the hot tea and the iced tea 5 tea cups.  The flavors are great.  Since I did not buy these teas, I can not comment on the price- only the flavor.  And the flavors are good.  The mint iced tea is delicious and the Moroccan Mint is just what you would hope for in a mint tea.  I hope you are able to stumble upon these tea sometime.  If I see it while out and about I would buy them.
