Tea Party- fight cancer

This is the 14th annual Christ United Church of Christ Cancer Crusaders Tea fundraiser.

In the 14 years these Cancer Crusaders have raised over $80k!!

I think this is my 3rd or 4th tea, it is a great cause - fighting cancer!!!  I lost my dear Aunt to cancer.

This group does a great job with their tea treats.  They have so many yummy sandwiches, scones, cookies, and more.

My mom- she has helped the team gather a lot of these recipes.  She is enjoying egg salad sandwiches.

I was at a table with two friends from church, two aunts and my mom.  What a fun time we had.

Here is the delightful treats!!!  They had enough goodies that we were allowed to go for seconds- I went back for some of my favorites...chicken salad, tomato/mozzarella/basil, cucumber sandwiches, and lemon bread.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Company, Peach Jasmine Iced Tea

While I was in Penang I was out and about it was so hot, so hot (over 90 with over 90% humidity) I needed a cold iced tea.  I found a Coffee Bean & Tea Company and enjoyed a Peach Jasmine Iced Tea.

I was a little hungry too, so I also enjoyed a mushroom pie.  It was a great afternoon treat.  Plus it there was AC in the shop!

Inca Tea,Pacha Chai, CLE

After traveling over 24 hours from Penang Malaysia I was finally in Ohio.  When I landed at Cleveland Airport at 6:30am I was pleased to see that Inca Tea was open.

I got a chai tea and it was really good.  It was the first time I had a chai from Inca and I was glad I tried it.

Bombay Sitar has some of the best Indian food I have ever had.  My friends, Charlie and Robin, introduced me to this scrumptious place about 8 years ago. It is one of my favorites.

When you go over lunch they have a fabulous buffet.  And with the buffet you get free, endless chai.  Their chai is really tasty.  I generally have 3-4 cups of it when I am there.

You have to check out this Indian food!!!  The buffet has many many options., and then there is also the chai.

 

Here is my dear friend Charlie and his wife Robin.  We lost Charlie a few years ago, boy do I miss him!!!
