The Tea Spot, Pumpkin Spice Chai

Ingredients: black tea, cinnamon, ginger, green cardamom pods, allspice, cloves, black pepper, pumpkin flavoring

I am a big fan of chai tea...and also pumpkin spice.  And it doesn't just have to be in the fall.

I tried to put chocolate syrup on the side of the cup, but it really wasn't working as well as I thought.  I think I needed more chocolate.

The plan is to pour the tea in there and then add the frothed milk on top.

I frothed oat milk,

Oatly is my favorite oat milk to froth.  I find it at Meijers.

I then put the pumpkin chai in the cup with the chocolate, but then all the chocolate melted.  I think that would only work if I did an ice chai. Then I poured the frothed milk in the cup.

I found some latte art templates at Hobby Lobby.

I tried cinnamon and it was too much cinnamon.  Then I did a cinnamon sugar that was great!!  

It also reminded me of when I was a kid and my mom made me cinnamon toast!!

Cinnamon toast- toasted bread, butter and then sprinkled on it was cinnamon sugar.  (Cinnamon sugar is a mix of cinnamon and sugar, lol)

 

I love frothed oat milk!!!!!!

This time I frothed the milk and then poured the tea in the cup, it was fun to watch the froth rise above the rim of the cup.

Afternoon Tea with B's Deli and Cafe

I partnered with B's Cafe and Deli for an Afternoon Tea.

B's Cafe is in the Heartland Point Building right on Main Street in Orrville.

It is a great place to have a tea.

I had 5 teas...I was going to only have 4, but I could not decide which ones to serve, so I went with five tea.

I always try to provide a "Tea Menu" when I do a tea.  I want people to know what I am serving if they like the tea and want to purchase it.  Since I don't sell the teas, this lets them know where they can get it.  Also, if there are any allergies they will know what is in the teas.

Taylors of Harrogate, Irish Breakfast Tea (Black) Assam and East African tea

Ohio Tea Company, Apricot Oolong, (Oolong) Dark oolong, calendula petals, and natural flavoring

Harney & Sons, Green Tea with coconut, ginger, and vanilla (Green) Green tea, lemongrass, coconut pieces, coconut flavor, vanilla flavor, ginger flavor. Contains natural flavors.

Vahdam India, Chocolate Vanilla Herbal Tea (Rooibos) South African Rooibos, Cocoa, Vanilla, Cinnamon, and chocolate flavor.

Kerrie’s Blend, Purple Palmer (Herbal) Peppermint, spearmint, lavender, lemon balm, butterfly pea blossoms, and Minute Maid Lemon Aid. 

The Purple Palmer and Apricot seemed to be the best movers.

I put the Purple Palmer base in cups on the table along with lemonade.  I let the guests pour the lemonade in the cup to make the purple color.  The Purple Palmer is like an Arnold Palmer.

I loved getting out my English dishes.  They are so beautiful and delicate!!

It was really fun to work with Amy from B's on this tea.  We are already planning our next tea together. 

Guests were able to serve themselves the tea they wanted.

These girls were big fans of the Purple Palmer!!

B's had a great selection of tea foods.  Amy had a variety of sandwiches, fruit cups, pretzels, mini cakes, and cookies.

It was nice to know most of the guests at this tea.  But to also meet knew people.  I love that about tea, it brings all kinds of people together.
