I was in Akron to visit a friend who just had a baby.  I thought I would try Bubbles and Puffles.  I thought the outside was cute.  It is right near Akron U.

There were lots of options, I will give them that. 

 But, I have to say it felt a little dirty and unkept in there.  Just here in the photos, you see the silverware is face up, this is a pet peeve of mine.  When facing up everyone touches all the silverware reaching for one.  Also, it would be best to be in plastic wrap.

The art work on the wall was fun.  I did like that.

The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was good, the price was in line, but the atmosphere was not really inviting.  The tables and counter seemed dirty.  I am not planning on returning.  There are enough other places out there that seem to make an effort with appearance and cleanliness.

Octagon House Mother's Day Tea

I was thrilled to be asked to share at the Mothers Day Tea at the Octagon House!!!

They also said I could bring my mom as my guest.  What a wonderful treat for both of us!!

The Octagon House is a wonderful place for tea and gatherings!  They are having lots of events this year, plus you can also ask them to host your event.

The table looked so gorgeous.  The food does not disappoint.  Every time I come here I always love the food!  They do an excellent job on the food every time!

There were three teas served- Rose, lavender, and Earl Grey.

What a delish spread of food.  We were all able to make multiple trips for food!

I had a nice spot to sell books...and I was thrilled to sell out!!!

They had tables set up in a few rooms.  I believe there were 15 or so of us for this Saturday afternoon tea.

I shared about what Afternoon Tea is...how it got started in England.  The difference between Afternoon Tea and High Tea.  Also the fun Afternoon Tea Etiquette items.

I guess I talk a bit with my hands, lol!

It was nice to have some friends show up at this tea.
