Octagon House Mother's Day Tea




I was thrilled to be asked to share at the Mothers Day Tea at the Octagon House!!!




They also said I could bring my mom as my guest.  What a wonderful treat for both of us!!



The Octagon House is a wonderful place for tea and gatherings!  They are having lots of events this year, plus you can also ask them to host your event.

I went with the Jane Austen look....








The table looked so gorgeous.  The food does not disappoint.  Every time I come here I always love the food!  They do an excellent job on the food every time!


There were three teas served- Rose, lavender, and Earl Grey.

What a delish spread of food.  We were all able to make multiple trips for food!

I had a nice spot to sell books...and I was thrilled to sell out!!!








They had tables set up in a few rooms.  I believe there were 15 or so of us for this Saturday afternoon tea.





I shared about what Afternoon Tea is...how it got started in England.  The difference between Afternoon Tea and High Tea.  Also the fun Afternoon Tea Etiquette items.



I guess I talk a bit with my hands, lol!




It was nice to have some friends show up at this tea.
