Compass, Matcha Lemonade and touring Fairlawn area

I was in Akron for my shoulder....so I decided to take advantage of being in the area...and I hit a tea cafe and some discount shopping.

647 E. Market Street
Akron, OH 44304

Compass has lots of tea, coffee, and other drink options.  There is a lot of seating inside too.  This was a very nice, clean cafe.

Their flight boards are fun...

I am giving the Matcha Lemonade three teacups.  It was made well, but I didn't care for the flavors together.  The staff was super friendly, the prices were good, and the cafe was clean.  I just made the mistake of thinking I would enjoy those flavors together, lol.

I then headed to one of my favorite 2nd hand shops, Happy Tails.

I was so excited to find these Moroccan Tea glasses for $1 each.  I do a Moroccan Tea class, so these are perfect for them.

They have rows and rows of dishes and things for sale.  I often can find dishes for my teas here and the prices are great.

Then I went to MCC in Kidron.

I got this giant tea kettle for around $5.  I love it!!

Buggy Brew, Berlin, OH- Iced Chai with lavender cold foam

I headed down to Berlin for my last Wednesday Wanderings of the summer.
I decided to get a chai at Buggy Brew in Berlin.  Then I also have friends who work just down the road, so I took them some Butterfly Pea Tea.

Buggy Brew is located inside Sheiyah Market.  Sheiyah Market is a fun shop- it reminds me very much of Chip and Joanna Gaines and Magnolia.
I had a $10 off coupon, so I decided this was the day to go down.

I am a fan of chai, and of lavender, and of cold foam...put those all together and you have a great drink.  This gets 5 tea cups from.  The gentleman working there was the manager and it was super nice and helpful.  We had a nice chat about small businesses.  The store is clean and the drinks are good.

I love their storage containers!!!!  I'd love to have a tea place at my house in one of these grain bins.

I then stopped in to see my friends...a mother daughter duo.  They come to my tea parties and I just think they are wonderful people. So, I stopped down and brought them some butterfly pea tea.

Always fun to surprise people with tea....

Dragonfly Tearoom, Canal Fulton

My sister was in from out of town, so the Fab 5 went out for tea.  My favorite place for tea in the area is the Dragonfly.

Dragonfly is now not only a tearoom, it is a winery, and a room above the tea room to rent.

Aren't my parents just adorable???

My dad got the chicken salad sandwich - which was packed full of goodness.  We loved the ribbon around the croissant as well.  He also got a cup of soup.

Us four ladies got the garden tea.  What a fantastic deal for $12.95 a person!!

We each got three sandwiches- chicken, cucumber, and pimento
Then we also got, an eclair, lemon bread, a strawberry, a scone, and chocolate truffle.
Then we each select are own pot of tea.

It was all soo good and so filling. I got my favorite which is the coconut oolong.  I drank the entire teapot of tea.

I also gave them tea bags to make all our tea with.  Otherwise they put the loose leaf tea in the teapot and after the first cup of tea the tea has over steeped and becomes bitter.  This way, when they use a tea bag you can take it out after the appropriate steeping time and have the perfect cuppa that lasts through the entire teapot.

I totally recommend the Dragonfly for tea.  They have a great menu and the staff is always so kind and good to work with.

Beans Cafe and Bakery, Dry Ridge KY- dirty iced chai and Beez Berries kombucha

My cousin and her family and I met up for a few days to go to the Ark in KY.
Have you been to the Ark??  You need to go!  It is unbelievable!  It is a life size Noah's Ark, it really brings this story in the Bible to life.  God is amazing!

On the way home we found this DELIGHTFUL cafe right near the Ark,  Some of the family did the ropes course at the Ark and since I had torn my rotator cuff my cousin, my uncle, and I waited for them at the cafe.  We loved it!!

I purchased the iced dirty chai to drink on the way home.  It was good.  I think though I prefer my dirty chai's hot.  This was my first cold one.  The flavors were good, I think I just prefer it hot...so, now I know, hahahaha.

As we entered we loved the sign on the door right off the bat!

The cafe was adorable and had many food and drink options.

This cafe was cute, clean, and had lots of seating options.

If I lived closer, this is the kind of place I would hang out!  The room in the back could be completely shut off with the sliding doors, which was a nice option too.

The had delicious looking baked goods too.  You can't tell in the photo, but those middle donuts were the size of my head.

I got the Blackberry Apple Kumbucha, that is local to KY.  Made in Berea KY.  It was great.  It was sparkling with tart and sweet notes.

Great food options!!

I got the salad that was excellent.  Everything about this cafe was wonderful.  I would absolutely come here again if in the area.
