Ott's, Iced London Cloud with coconut

Another beautiful day in Ohio.  I was headed down to Holmes County and happen to see Ott's was in Kidron.  I decided I needed to stop and see if they had any new tea things happening...and they did!!!

As always there was a line.  It is incredible how much the food truck/drink trailers have taken off in the the last few years.  Man, someday I want to have my own.

I ordered the Iced London Cloud- but instead of vanilla I had them add coconut.  I loved it!!!  The foam "cloud" on top was a fun and different too.

The only reason they are not getting 5 tea cups from me, is I think that they are a little pricey.  But, the flavors are on point, the staff is super friendly.  I love what they stand for and what they do.

I love that they have so many options for tea, coffee, and smoothies

The lady in front of me got these drinks, they look amazing!!!

Friendtique

I happened to be at the right time and right place during one of my Wednesday Wanderings!!
I can't believe I have never been to Friendtique in Wooster Ohio!  It is only around 20 minutes away.

"All profits generated from the stores’ revenue are donated to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare Community Care Fund, a fund designated solely to improving the quality of life for hospice patients in Wayne and Holmes Counties and the communities of Ashland, Wadsworth and Rittman. To date, we have had the opportunity to donate more than $1 million to Hospice LifeCare." website

Wed, Thurs & Fri 10am-5pm  - Saturday 10am-4pm  - Closed Sunday

And today everything in the store was 40% (minus a few items)  I had a grand time looking around.  I found some fun jewelry and two great tea pots!!

This place is fun and a lot bigger than it looks from the outside.  They have clothes down stairs too.

Below is this great teapot I bought for $7.50.  I love it.  I am more in to metal teapots than pottery ones these days....they don't break.  hahahahaha

As I was leaving, having already checked out, I spotted this electric tea kettle.  It as $20, so I purchased it for $10.  I think it is beautiful!

It is also an electric percolator!!!

The cord is super old, so I have not plugged it in yet.   I think if I want to use it, I will get it re-wired...and I don't want to go to that expense.  I will just use it it as a teapot.

Algebra Tea House- ethnic teas

Friday Market Libyan Tea, Southern Soul Tea, and House Chai...yep, I tried them all!!!

The staff was super friendly and helpful.  The prices were good.  The cafe was unique and fun!!!

You don't have to leave the country, or even your own state to find unique places to eat.  And if you are in Ohio, I TOTALLY recommend this place.

It's Wednesday and I am out wanderings....I have finally got to one of the tea places in Cleveland that has been on my list for a 2-3 years.

This tea house is in this quaint neighborhood in Little Italy.  The  food is Middle Eastern and really good.  The House has been around for over 20 years.

This tea house is nestled in the middle of this neighborhood.  It is a great little area.

The brick streets, the outdoor seating, the flowers, it is all so inviting.

Ayman Alkayali is the artist who started this tea house and art gallery.  I read that Ayman has made each piece of furniture and the mugs.  It is eclectic and fun.

They sell pottery, tea, fruits, vegetables, and other grocery store items.

Very unique and quaint seating.

How could we not sit here?  The view of the street, the sunlight coming in, it was a great spot.

My friend, Heidi, and I try to go to 2-3 ethnic places in the summer.  She is a teacher and has the summer off and I have my Wednesdays off.  We have done Pho, Ethopian, Tea x3, Dim Sum, Crepes from West Side Market, and Bhutanese.
It is fun to have friends who love ethnic food as much as I do.

So many great options for food and drinks.  It was really hard to decide what to pick.

I love love love that they have an ethnic tea section.

It was so hard to decide what tea to get..so, I ordered three teas!

Friday Market Libyan Tea
Southern Soul Tea
House Chai

Below is the Libyan Tea!  It was delicious!!!
Black Tea, roasted peanuts, mint, and brown sugar.

This tea was fun and tasty.  The fresh mint sprinkled on top was fun.  The roasted peanuts in the teas were super fun too.  The only time I have had roasted peanuts with tea as in Guinea West Africa.  I think I may attempt to make this tea too.

This was Southern Soul- probably my favorite tea
Yunan tea, fresh ginger, hint of citrus, and dark agave.

I loved the flavors and uniqueness of this tea.  I actually think this might be the first time I have ever had agave- I liked it and I bought some from their grocery store.  I also bought some Yunan tea from the Asia plaza in Cleveland.  I have attempted to make this tea at home and I have to say I did pretty good.

This was the House Chai
Sweetened Darjeeling tea, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Caraway, and Steamed Milk.

This one was just okay for me.  The dusting on the top was hard to get past and I thought the tea wasn't very strong.  It could be that the other two were just so great, it made this one just seem okay.

I love unique teas from other places.  I have often thought about doing country themed tea parties.  This place totally renewed my thoughts of doing this!!

I ordered the hummus.  It was delicious!!

It was fresh and delicious.  You can tell people like this place.  There were people coming and going the entire time my friend and I were there.  I wish it wasn't an hour away!!  But, I do plan on going back.

They have unique desserts too.

The woman's restroom was super cute and unique.

The sink was paint stained.

We were in the middle of Little Italy and near Case Western Reserve.  I want to go back and walk around.  It was a beautiful day.  Next time I want to stay longer.
