Wake Up Coffee House, Wakeman, Dirty Apple Pie Chai

I discovered a new coffee place, or new for me...Wake Up Coffee House in Wakeman Oh.

I was in Vermilion at Beulah Beach for the week and I was excited to grab a tea on the way out of town.

If you follow me, you know that Beulah Beach on Lake Erie is my happy place!!!  

They had some bar like seating that I thought was super cool with live edge table.

The place is super cute and clean inside.  There are a variety of places to sit.  It is very inviting and I liked the vibe.

The first thing I asked when I got there was if they used Oregon Chai- they said they did.  I am not a huge fan of Oregon Chai concentrate.  Since there were no other real tea options, I went with the Apple Pie Chai and made it dirty.

Dirty is a shot of espresso in the chai.  Filthy chai is two shots of espresso...but I find I loose the taste of chai if it is filthy.

I am giving this Dirty Apple Pie Chai three tea cups out of five.  The flavor was just okay.  I did not think that the apple pie taste was strong.  The chai was as expected.  The espresso was okay too.

The price was okay.  The shop was cute and clean.  The gal behind the counter was really friendly and patient with me as I made my decisions.

Citrus Sunrise Kombucha , Better Booch

I love kombucha. I made it for about 3 1/2 years, but got tired of taking care of the scoby and making the drink, so I took a break.  I do miss having it on tap anytime I want it.  I probably will make it again, but not this year.  

I am always looking for good Kombucha on sale when I am out grocery shopping. I found this at Meijer's the other day and it was on sale, so I decided to try it.

I liked the fact that it was only 45 calories, but I have to say I wonder why there is any sodium added to this kombucha.

I did find it to be one of my favorites.  The flavors were really great.  It is light and refreshing.  It has a zip to it.  It is really good. And I also like that there is none of those fake sugars in the drink.

This is a great kombucha.  And even better out of my Rudy Whistle mug!!!

Ohio Roasting Company, Pumpkin Chai

I am a big fan of Ohio Roasting Company in Canton.

This is just the second time I have tried a drink from Ohio Roasting Company, but both time they have hit the drinks out of the park.

They have a nice selection of drinks to select from.

This time I went for the Pumpkin Chai.  It was spicy and delicious.  I was super pleased with the pumpkin spice flavors.  It didn't feel artificial like some flavorings can taste.

If in Canton, I recommend Ohio Roasting Company.  They also have a nice sit down area inside and outside.

Great flavors, decent prices, and good service.  This Pumpkin Chai receives five tea cups from me.
