I have become a fan of this tea! David's Caramel Shortbread Tea. A great way to start my morning at work. I start at 6am and I love a nice pick me up, this is it for me!
I have been drinking it a few different ways...with milk and without. I love frothing vanilla syrup into the oat milk and pouring it on top the best.
Below is without milk...and it is still really good!
I steep the tea bag in water over 200 degrees. This is an herbal tea, there is no caffeine in this tea.
This tea is so full of flavor! It has stevia in it, but I hardly noticed.
Apple (apple, citric acid), Raisins, Brown sugar, Natural and artificial (almond, hazelnut) flavoring, Elderberries, Willow bark, Almonds (almonds, sugar), Hazelnuts, Sour cherries, Raspberries, Stevia extract.
I love oat milk. It has a nice nutty note to it. I put some oat milk in a glass and then add vanilla syrup and froth.
Since I am using a larger cup, I put in 2 tea bags. I tea bag is generally good for 8 oz. Larger cups require two tea bags.
For an herbal tea you steep 5-6 minutes. You can steep longer if you want for an herbal. There is no actual tea in an herbal tea so there are no tannins in it. Tannins in the tea is what cause the bitter taste when you over steep.
So delicious!! I love this tea and the froth!
This tea gets 5 tea cups! The flavors are warming and so delicious. It definitely has a shortbread note to it too. I can't stand stevia in things, but I can barely taste it in this tea. I get small notes as an after taste, but it is not strong and the tea this tea is worth it to me.
10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
