Christmas Tea at Mrs Giggleberrys Tea Parlor, Strasburg OH

My sisters and I were going to have a sisters day and have tea up in Cleveland...but then the snow hit!

We did some checking and discovered that there was actually a Christmas tea happening at Mrs Giggleberry's Tea Room.  I was very excited, I have wanted to try this place ever since a friend said she had tea here.

410 North Wooster Avenue, Strasburg, OH, United States, Ohio

The house was decorated so nicely for Christmas.

There was a table of 7 in the main dining room.

In the living room area there were four table of different sizes set up.

We made the reservation for three, but were pleased that we could add a fourth.  My mom joined us.  I am thrilled it worked out.  We all loved it.

Then there was another room off to the side that had two or three tables.  The pink room!!  Super fun and more retro looking than the other traditional rooms.

At our table we had a menu of what we would be served.
We started off with a great Wassail tea.  She was nice enough to put the Wassail recipe on the back of the menu card.

We started off with a delicious pumpkin soup and an almond poppy seed bread.

We were then served bacon, apple, cheddar flat bread
also a carrot bruschetta (which might have been my favorite)
and
Turkey, Havarti, Cranberry Tea sandwiches

Very good and very filling...and there is still more to come...

We were then served warm Orange cranberry scones with cream.  And they rate up as some of the best scones I have ever tasted.

Lastly we were served dessert.
A gingerbread cookie bar, chocolate caramel pecan bar, and lemon cupcake with brown butter icing.

We also enjoyed Ohio Teas, Peppermint Stick Black Tea with the sweeter items.

Then we were told there was a craft yet!!  All of this for $35!!  I was super impressed.

This is the sample card and ornament.

It was really nice, they had all the supplies in baggies for us.  And the items we needed to cut out, they had already traced for us.  It made it very simple and all we needed to do was assemble them.

Here is my card and ornament.

We had a blast!!  The food was scrumptious.  The tea was devine.  The price was really good.  And we just loved being together.  And the craft was a bonus!

Are you ready for a fun story!!!  Turns out the lady at the table beside us was from WV.  But, she knew who I was.
She asked,  "Are you the gal who is doing the Christmas tea in Shreve"?  I said, "I am"!  She said, " I thought so.  I also think we met before Thanksgiving at MCC".   She said, " I heard you talking about tea there and I asked you if you were the one doing tea at LincWay"?
I said, "Yes, I remember"!!
I was shocked she remembered me.  And shocked she was WV and we ran into each other twice in less than a month.
But, she seems to be even more the queen of tea parties than me.  She and her sister were heading to one the next day in Millersburg and then on Sunday to one in Canton.
How fun is that???  I love running into people and finding out they follow me or know who I am.  My marketing is working.

Check out Mrs Giggleberrys if you are in the area.
