This shop in Canal Fulton sells a lot of cute tea items.  I have purchased their loose leaf tea here too.

 

It was all decorated for Christmas.  It was beautiful!!!!  I love coming here for special events.  I say that and yes, it is only my third time here...but they have all been special :)

We ordered this garden tea, it was so fun!!! It makes me laugh when people say "High Tea".  I believe High Tea was around 4 or 5pm and you were served more hardy/meaty items.  But, anyway we enjoyed our finger foods!!

My only complaint I have with this tea shop is the way they serve their tea. They put the loose leaf tea in the pot and let it sit on the table.  After my first trip there, I have always asked for two pots. And when I do the staff looks at me like I have two heads.   I let the tea steep and then when the time is up- I pour the tea into the new pot.  I must say that I was the only one who drank the entire pot....everyone else said that their tea was too strong and bitter by the end.  I would think steeping the tea the correct way would be priority one!  But, if you go just nicely explain that you want two pots and they will bring them to you and then you can have a wonderful pot of tea!

Morning tea- Teacup Tuesday

Need my tea before work.  It's Teacup Tuesday, what's in your cup?  Mine is homemade ice tea!!!

 

Love to make tea and drink it all day at work.  I usually drink several cups of tea a day.  What about you?  Cold tea? Hot tea? Sweet tea?  I like iced tea in the summer, but only with a small amount of sugar.  If some add 1 cup for a gallon of tea, I may add 1/3 cup.   Keep drinking your tea!

I like the TeaHouse Collection, better than the tea that they make in the plastic bottles.  These blends in the glass bottles taste less artificial tasting.  They taste more like something you would make yourself. 

Health-Ade Kombucha, Pink Lady Apple

I tried this Kombucha today- it was GREAT!!!!  The only draw back is the price.  I am not paying over $2.00 for Kombucha that I can make at home.  But, if you don't make it, and you want a really good one- this is it.  I loved the flavor.  It was sweet and not too tart.  I found it to be one of top 5 bottled Kombucha drinks I have tried.

I took it to work and made it in the Keurig that we have there.  And I hated it.  I took the one box back and got a refund.

tea ornaments

A friend showed me some hot coco and coffee ornaments that she got.  I got to wondering if I could make any with tea?  Maybe an instant chai with peppermint candies??? There are lots of fun ideas out there.  The glass ornaments are expensive, so I am looking to see if I can find some nice plastic ones.

Not sure what it was about this tea, maybe that it was a rooibos, but I just did not care for it.  I would have to say rooibos tea might be my least favorite tea.  But, we all have unique tastes, because my sister says that her favorite is the rooibos.  So, be sure to try all kinds of tea, you never know what you will like.  Just like people, don't judge - get to know people and get to know your tea!!!

I have to say that this is my NEW favorite bottled tea!!!  I usually only buy bottled tea once, just to taste it and blog about it.  Snapple Peach is that exception.  I love that tea.  But, this one is even better.  It does not taste manufactured and artificial.  I love the flavors and blend!!!  It is light and refreshing.  I am HUGE fan!!!!!!!

Cold brew is great- have you tried it yet?  I put in about 1 teaspoons per 8 oz of cold water, within 10 minutes I have cold brew tea. It doesn't get bitter because the water is cold. I can add water to the cup at least 3 more times throughout the day.  I use a bottle from steepware when I cold brew at work or when I am out and about.  Check out the website.  You can add ANY loose leaf tea.

Homemade Rasberry Kombucha Blends

 

I made three gallons of raspberry Kombucha- all the same way.  But, when I went to do F2, I added the different flavors.

 

3 gallons Kombucha bottled for fremenation2- aka carbonation!  Raspberry ginger, raspberry grape ginger, and raspberry peach ginger 😀😂💜😂💜

I found that the peach ferments the fastest and grape is the slowest. On F2 I let the peach out for only 3 days, but I leave the grape out for over 7.  I love learning about this stuff!!!  I am a huge fan of the raspberry and ginger. I have been sharing these bottles with so many people.

 

LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff.  And on a personal note, I can tell it is working on my gut :)
