Boo Bears Brew, Iced Chai with lavender

My friends and I were excited to get together- it has been awhile. Sadly, we were missing one of our friends, who was working too far away to join us.  We headed to Wooster for lunch, we ate at Spoon Market.  https://spoon-market.com/menu/lunch-dinner-menu/

It was a fantastic meal. I had the Julie and Julia with homemade chips.  I believe it was a seasonal special, since it is not on the regular menu.  It was a Shaved beef steak, fresh mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions, marinated banana peppers & horseradish mayo on a garlic butter toasted banquette.    It also had a great Au jus sauce to dip it in.    I had never been there before and the food was great.  Also a plus, was a stranger paid for all our meals.

My one friend had to go back to work.  So, my other friend and I walked around a little.  I wanted to check out the Boo Bear Brew.  It is a stones throw away.

In the back of Local Roots in Wooster (https://www.localrootswooster.com/), is the Boo Bear Brew.

If I understood correctly one of the ladies in the Roots store makes the chai blend herself.  I am a big fan of that- making the blend your self!!  Something unique and different is always a plus for me.

I wanted to get an iced chai.  The friendly guy behind the counter said it was unsweetened chai- which is fine with me.  But, I did ask for a shot of lavender syrup in it.

It was very tasty, I will say I thought it was a bit pricey.  The ices chai was $4.75 for a one size (smallish) cup.  That is more than I would normally pay for a tea, also more than any of their coffees offered (unless I missed something), but I wanted to try it.  And it was good, but I doubt I will head back anytime soon.  If I am going to pay almost $5. I want a much bigger cup.
