Time to celebrate my aunt who is turning 90!
My aunt is such a wonderful lady. A great example to us all and a special encouragement to me as a godly, single, never married lady.
The family came together to celebrate her for the weekend. We kicked off the events with a tea party!
Sister and Brother.
So fun to have us all together for this special weekend.
Hope you take time to celebrate the special people in your life.
We made her amazing lemon bread. Had scones, Earl Grey Milano cookies, butter cookies, and more!
Chicken salad croissants, cucumbers, and stuffed baby tomatoes.
I prepared the tea...and of course did her favorite- Decaf Red Rose. I also did Harney & Sons Soho, also Ohio Tea's Vanilla Chai, and then an iced Ohio Tea Artic Raspberry
I made my favorite Scones from Scratch.
Blueberry and Milk Chocolate Peppermint.
We cousins had fun recreating old pictures together. An Easter photo from 1976... as well as a Christmas photo from 1980.
We love our aunt!!!!
What a fun weekend to celebrate....and drink lots of tea.
I sure had fun making lots of fun tea. Both my gal cousins sell Arbonne, so I had to make Matcha lattes for them!!
Cheers to Matcha!
Saturday morning was Arabic Tea with scones...
10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
